I think I prefer the previous set up of focusing on one character (all of who follow ordinary lives) per episode. There's just something unrelatable this time round with the involvement on the rich family and not enough focus on the characters personal lives. Still got a lot going for it to keep me interested throughout the series though. Was nice to see Denise again, although I think her character has gone as far as it can go now.

I agree that the old format worked better but I suppose this freshens things up. Also, yeah it was nice to see Denise again but it could have been anyone, it didn't add anything about what her life is now.

I'm not really getting into this series as much as the other two and I do think it's largely down to the format change. I don't think the disapperance mystery is as intriguing as it's trying to be either, there's not really any clues to go on for it to be engaging.

The previous format allowed a balance between all characters and a real intrigue into the mysteries/what would happen this week. I don't feel the storyline is strong enough this series.

^Yep, I have them same concerns too.

The father is clearly involved and I reckon he set the kidnap up to get money off the rich family so that he could look after his family (remember Amy disappeared before the lottery win and the first episode focuses on how his family were struggling). There will probably be a little more to it than that but it's not the most original of story ideas.

An alright ending, I liked that they added an extra twist on the end. Not surprised at Amy doing something like that. Poor Godfrey not recieving his £1 million back. :(

Godfrey seemed happy enough - he didn't seem driven by money anyway - besides which - he got himself engaged to a woman who was worth more than him and his syndicate mates put together!

I felt more sorry for Spencer taking the rap for the whole thing. Amy was unlikable even before we discovered she was behind the whole thing all along!

I have to admit though - I found the whole thing rather sloppily written. It wasn't the worst thing I've seen on TV lately but it certainly wasn't up there with the best! Lenny Henry was just bloody annoying too!

I wouldn't feel sorry for Spencer, he did have the aim of kidnapping her after all!

I do have to agree that I was disapointed with the show this time round. The previous two series were excellent but this one felt like it was written in a rush, especially with all the backwards and forwards that went on. I thought Lenny Henry was brilliant though, much better than I expected him to be!

That ending did seem incredibly rushed and it's left me a bit on the fence as to whether I liked the conclusion. I suppose it shows how money changes people if Amy was in on it the whole time so that she could get money for her modeling. I think I'm missing something but who the hell was the guy Amy ran off with and transferred the money to her and who shot Nick?

He was part of the American family who were at the dinner party in episode 1 and were trying to buy Hazelwood

The first two series were excellent. I enjoyed the third but not nearly as much, something didn't quite work about it. Still, looking forward to hearing more about its fourth series.

I'm so pleased to hear this show is coming back. Always well-written dialogue, relatable characters and relationships, and plenty of intrigue. Can't wait!
