Not Shangela vs. Trixie again! 😂 I'd have liked a couple more names that hadn't already appeared in All Stars/multiple seasons - only Jasmine, Kim (assuming this is Chi), Mayhem and Sonique have only appeared in one season.

Seasons two through seven are back on UK Netflix! Hopefully All Stars gets added soon, even though most of it is on YouTube, it would be so much easier to have all of Drag Race in one place.

Season 1 is also now on UK Netflix.

 

I swear they must have decided WOW Presents + isn't working in the UK. They probably make much more from selling it to Netflix UK than they do through subscriptions to their own thing here.

Nooo I think Liam meant next year - RuPaul posted a video announcing a casting call so it definitely won't be till 2019

It’ll be interesting to see this on a BBC network where, AFAIK, they can’t air the gratuitous sponsorship/product placements that are all over the original version. That was why I thought Channel 4/5 would be where they ended up.

 

Regardless though, I’m so ready for this to finally get off the ground!

I'm so ready for a UK version, can't wait to see our local drag scene get a spotlight as I'm not too familiar with it.

I love the UK drag scene, I have drag queen friends and know of lots of Drag queens (at least in the North East) I've also dabbled in Drag myself a couple of times. Only thing is alot of UK drag that I know of are SO far away from being PC unlike alot of US queens so its going to be interesting seeing them having to reign it in. Also alot of UK queens sing live.
