Downloaded, and retagged as Cheryl Cole so she can break my top 8 artists on last.fm!

How it stands at the moment:

1 :: Girls Aloud - 21,180 plays

2 :: Avril Lavigne - 2,785 plays

3 :: The Saturdays - 2,377 plays

4 :: Spice Girls - 1,799 plays

5 :: Rihanna - 1,427 plays

6 :: Britney Spears - 1,328 plays

7 :: Rachel Stevens - 1,248 plays

8 :: Melanie C - 1,205 plays

9 :: The Veronicas - 1,195 plays

10 :: Kelly Clarkson - 1,152 plays

11 :: Cheryl Cole - 1,099 plays

Cheryl's episode of The Graham Norton Show hit a series high of 4.2m! Brilliant that so many people saw it - it's genuinely one of my favourite Cheryl interviews/moments ever :wub:

Also, Cheryl and Nadine have reportedly been on a night out together following her performance at the Summertime Ball *.* Amazing!

Great start for the sales for her, it will be a close call between Cheryl and Gary for biggest weekly sales.
Sales until last night are 97,000... A bit of a small increase if they were on 80k on Tuesday, but I think that was probably wrong.
She has around 60k on Sunday (thx to pre-orders) so 17k is quite good result. She has 97k comparing to 93k Promise this after Tuesday.
I liked her at the Capital FM Summertime Ball, think it may be my favourite CMN performance.
I am so glad Cheryl is going to have her 3rd #1 with this song! I listen to it all the time and it never gets old!

Fastest-selling single of the year with 152,000 copies sold! :D That's even beaten Gary Barlow to become the biggest 1-week sales of the year, too!

I expected that she will sell more copies than promise this, but still it's a great result

CELEBRATION TIME !! :cheer:

So so so happy for her ! Third number 1 lead single in a row !

She's been number 1 with seven singles now since 2002 (8 if we count the Help for Haïti song), she must be well happy ! ^_^

Beating 'Promise this' would have been sweet but hey oh, what an achievement still ! :wub:

Call My Name did exceptionally well compared with Promise This. Don't forget there is a worse climate at this point in the year and higher sales generally in Q4. Promise This also had XF on release day which would have boosted it considerably. As well as a CD single adding a couple more thousand. If Call My Name had the same treatment it would have probably sold much more than Promise This.

So well done Cheryl! :cheer:

Having a look at its worldwide positions on iTunes.
