May 19, 201213 yr Author Shonda has already confirmed that season 2 will be 13 episodes. She wants it to be cable-esque in its storytelling and quality.
May 19, 201213 yr I don't think it would work over 22 episodes, even 13 might be a bit of a push. Part of the reason this season worked so well was because of how tight it was in terms of story telling, spread that over twice as many episodes and it wouldn't seem nearly as impressive. Given that they pretty much need to start from scratch story wise in S2 I don't think it'll be too much of an issue though. I just hope the Quinn thing is worth ending on a cliffhanger.
November 9, 201212 yr I think I'm alone in watching this (on here) now but episode 5 was a proper game changer, after a couple of slowish/dull episodes it really got very close to the quality of S1 again. I loved the way they subtly revealed it too. YAY.

June 7, 201312 yr Yay more fans. Finished catching up. Quinn with the drill had me laughing hysterically. It's great that ABC appear to be going for a split-season approach with some of their shows next season. Hopefully two halves of 11 or 12 episodes with two different storylines, that's what makes the show so damn good.

June 19, 201312 yr Jáhq's recommended this show to me and I've been watching through it since last week, currently four episodes into season 2 and it's giving me LIFE. Love the character of Olivia especially but all of them are really well written. Not read through the last part of this thread yet as I don't want spoilers but excited for the rest of season 2 and then season 3 in September. :D
June 23, 201312 yr Just watched the first episode of this (as recommended by Joseph), and it was really fantastic! Absolutely hate the president, but LOVE Olivia. Feeling strongly about most of the characters already, so I'll watch a couple more S1 episodes tomorrow! :D

September 15, 201311 yr It'll be interesting to see the ratings for season 3 now that ABC has gone wild with split seasons. The winter hiatus is going to kill me though. :(
September 15, 201311 yr I reckon it's going to debut with a 4.0 or something in that region before settling into a 2.8-3.2 region, certainly for the AUTUMN part of the season anyway.
October 7, 201311 yr OMG at Sally/Fitz chatting in the oval office, one minute she's being all open, the next she's back in full on BITCH MODE *.* The whole episode was brilliantly paced/acted/written as per though, great welcome back. Best of all though - PERD F*UCKING HAPLEY.
October 7, 201311 yr Such a brilliant episode to kick off the new season, the scene with Fitz, Olivia and Mellie in the meeting room thingy was so well written and acted. Genuinely one of my favourite shows right now, it's the gift that KEEPS ON GIVING.
