September 8, 201212 yr 'Clique' is definitely my favourite from the songs we've heard from the album and that really is saying something. All three verses are sooo damn good. Yeah I'm talking bossy, I ain't talking Kelis
September 9, 201212 yr Yeah I'm talking bossy, I ain't talking Kelis I heard 'Kelis' as 'Tulisa' on first listen just now - the thing is that would still kind of make sense given the whole 'The Female Boss' thing but it'd be far too obscure a reference for Jay-Z so I thought I must have misheard  Another brilliant single anyway. Can't wait for this album
September 10, 201212 yr I heard 'Kelis' as 'Tulisa' on first listen just now - the thing is that would still kind of make sense given the whole 'The Female Boss' thing but it'd be far too obscure a reference for Jay-Z so I thought I must have misheard  Another brilliant single anyway. Can't wait for this album  Didn't Jay-Z sign N-Dubz at one point (but had to drop them when he inevitably realized they wouldn't be marketable in the US :drama:)? So he probably knows Tulisa. And Bossy by Kelis is such a TUNE, while we're at it. It has reached #4 on US iTunes so far, which is higher than Mercy ever got (peaked at #5). I happened to listen to both Mercy and What Do You Take Me For? by Pixie Lott today, and I realized Pusha T re-uses his "turning head like the exorcist" line in Mercy. But then again, he can get away with it, as there's probably only a select few people on the planet who have heard BOTH songs.
September 11, 201212 yr Author That's more like it! I did like 'Mercy' but it was a step down from the normal Kanye stuff, let's be honest, but 'Clique' is oustanding, especially those verses.

September 13, 201212 yr I love "The One with Kanye West, Big Sean, 2 Chainz and Marsha Ambrosius, it should be released a single.
September 13, 201212 yr Author Was really looking forward to this and I have to say it is a G.O.O.D album but it isn't completely brilliant. To the World - 09 Clique - 11 Mercy - 08 New God Flow - 08 The Morning - 07 Cold - 07 Higher - 05 Sin City - 09 The One - 10 Creepers - 06 Bliss - 08 Don't Like - 07 The strongest tracks are definitely the brilliant 'Clique', 'The One' and 'Sin City', and over-all the tracks that Kanye is on are the strongest, but I don't think that is surprising. I think the Cudi song 'Creepers' could have been good, as I like the production, I just really don't like HIM on the track. Overall I would say it is a strong effort and the high's really are rather brilliant, but it is not as outstanding as I would expect from something that Kanye is so involved in. Bring on the new solo album, that's what I say. Edited September 13, 201212 yr by Davidson
October 18, 201212 yr Late (lol) but I really just got around to listening to this. Nothing spectacular but it has its moments. To the World feels so affirming when ur driving, DEUCES MINUS ONE
October 25, 201212 yr Thought I'd bump this back up too as I've just listened to it again for the first time in a week or so. Really think it's brilliant in parts, only a couple of weaker tracks. Kanye's last solo effort (MBDTF) was outrageously good though, so can't wait for his next.
November 13, 201212 yr Kanye still got it but his latest material is nothing compare to his old stuff.
