Love this one so much  Probably my favorite of hers, although I love ITZ and Blackout almost as much. Have been listening to it a lot lately, to me its the perfect pure pop album, and an iconic reference for the genre, smashing records left and right :D Its very 2000 in sound, but if you're a fan of that era for music like me then you'll definitely love it.

There is only one song I'm not fond of, "Dear Diary", all the others are song I absolutely love. The singles were great, but then you had uptempos like "Don't Go Knockin' On My Door", "Can't Make You Love Me" and "What U See Is What U Get". The midtempos like "Lucky", the fabulous "One Kiss From You" and the smooth "When Your Eyes Say It" are also gems. Only 2 proper ballads on the album, "Where Are You Now" is definitely the best one, and probably features the best vocals of her career. I feel it should've been released over DLMBTLTK (which I've grown to enjoy after some years).

Pop masterpiece

"Lucky" and "Oops!" are amongst my favourite Britney singles/songs, with "Stronger" being one that I don't appreciate as much until I hear it. I don't think I've listened to the thing in full for a very long time though.
'Can't Make You Love Me' is my absolute favourite Britney song, so underappreciated. 'What U See (Is What U Get)' would probably be amongst my Brit top ten, too, the production on the more uptempo songs really holds up well! I love the dorky interludes too. "You went back to his HOUSE? Did you guys KISS?!"

Really love this album, but as I was saying in the 'Britney' thread, I love all albums so much that putting one in last place, just doesn't feel right. This album is, unfortunately, my least favourite of the Britney albums, but I do love it. I think OIDIA is her most overrated song though. It's good, but not as good as it was made out to be and if it wasn't for the iconic video, I doubt it would have been that big a hit.

I am definitely with you guys on 'Where Are You Now' That final 1 minute and 20 seconds or whatever... WOW. We need that Brit back, so BAD.

The section from 'What U See (Is What U Get)' through to 'Where Are You Now' is rather excellent!

This album is definitely all about 'Stronger' and 'Lucky'! Amazing songs. I also lovee album track wise 'What U See (Is What U Get) and 'Don't Go Knockin' On My Door', both are superb.

I like this album still, because I do LOVE a bit of pure pop Britney.

I love OIDIA, but I understand where you're coming from since its exactly what I feel about Slave - the video made the song come to life. However I disagree that Oops wouldnt have been a big hit if it wasnt for the video, she was on fire at the time, and pretty much anything would've smashed - plus Oops is pretty loved in general by the majority of her fanbase.

Stronger is just...I don't even have the words to describe how much I love that song and the video is just stunning.

Oops album <3

I see you enjoy songs named "Stronger" :P I really didnt care for Stronger at the time, it still isnt one of my favs on the album, but I can see why people love it.

THIS ALBUM IS MY f***ING CHILDHOOD.

'WAYN' and 'CMYLM' needed to be singles. EPIC EPIC POP SONGS.
