Thought it was going to be shit when I saw te trailer and didn't really get what it was goin to be about but was pretty much blown away. I think the whole idea is great and executed so well. Funny + scary + clever (sort of) = a very happy chris

I saw that Josh Whedon was involved and knew I had to see this. Going to see this on Thursday and I can't wait!

 

 

The reviews have been really rather good as well.

YES. This was amazing, similar to Scream in terms of humour and horror references I thought. A must see for horror fans I think, I really really enjoyed it. Didn't really scare me as such

well actually the elevator bit was kinda scary, and the clown omfg, ew

and made me laugh more than anything but it's still a really enjoyable film. One of my faves I've seen this year actually.

As my friend succinctly put it 'wearing a T-shirt that says "I'm with stupid" does not make you clever'

I thought this was rather good. Witty, well written and amazingly directed by Joss.

Saw this yesterday and I was well entertained. Well-scripted funride.

Absolutely LOVED this. Almost threw up when 'the whore' died though. :lol:

 

SO many amazing monsters there :wub: And it was the first time I was happy to see Sigourney Weaver's character die :D

Literally can't understand what's so good about this. I tried to leave out any other factor and just watch it as a scary/funny film. Painfully dull. Not scary not funny.

I was expecting it to be just about a group of people being terrored in basically a Cabin in the Woods :lol: I thought it was a good twist tbh a nice change ^_^ seemed more Resident Evil'y towards the end

IT's a brilliant movie. Joss Whedon always breathes freshness into any genre, the scripting is taught, witty, clever, and it takes every single horror cliche thats been done to death and pulls it all together into one fabulous sci-fi explanation. It's as good as Buffy, and Angel, and Firefly, and Avengers. And they were brilliant. the man can do no wrong....! After this film any corny schlock horror cliched movie is going to look what it is..:)
