It’s a shame that we have so many legendary artists who are under-certified because much of their sales pre 1994 aren’t recognised.

I was just thinking Masterpiece went 5 places higher and that was on download only.

I think a lot of people prefer Masterpiece to Girl Gone Wild, and Masterpiece has had radio airplay and promotion from W/E. There's still a few more release formats of Girl Gone Wild, so maybe it could get higher?
I seriously doubt it. Only the physical maxi cd is left to be released and that won't be out here till June 12th lol.

From MW:

Madonna's Girl Gone Wild sold 1,221 copies on CD and a further 699 on 12-inch (topping the 12-inch chart) - but despite this, and the fact the track is being used extensively on TV to promote Madonna's new perfume Truth Or Dare, Girl Gone Wild makes a woeful number 73 debut on the Top 75, with 3,557 sales. It is the third song from Madonna's current album MDNA to chart - and none has performed well. First single Gimme All Your Lovin' featured M.I.A. and Nicki Minaj but still stalled at number 37 in February, while Masterpiece crawled to number 68 in April despite winning a Golden Globe award and getting huge airplay support from Radio 2. MDNA is barely affected by the release of Girl Gone Wild, climbing 39-36, while recording its lowest weekly sales tally of 3,506. After eight weeks on release , MDNA has finally topped the 100,000 sales mark, with 103,381 sales to date. Aside from the three songs mentioned above.

I'm not expecting MDNA to be top 40 this week but let's see on the album chart later today. I guess it depends how low sales are in general in the UK. I'd love to see The Complete Studio Albums 1983 - 2008 make a return in the top 200 as HMV are selling it for just £15, I don't know if they are just selling it as that price online or in store as well. Does anybody know ?.

Great stuff!. I dread to think what the sales were just because the state of the sales in general in the album chart.

I take it You'll See never made the top 200? .
