Well I've firmly decided I'm not keen on the bottom of the scoreboard. I'll do my best to move out next time. Thanks for all who voted though, nice to see some people enjoyed it.

Thrilled Dragonette were finally triumphant! Slightly gutted to have fallen out of the top10 on the final vote but 11th is still exceptional (and way better than anticipated) and Numayania haven't overtaken me on the year to date chart :cheer: Thank you for doing a great job Addy and many many many thanks to those of you who voted Ashton. Especially those of you who so kindly awarded us 12/10/8 points. I'm glad y'all discovered a great dance track that I love very much. (Also, Emma Lewin may have finished 5 places higher but I am far far far more happy with this result even if it sounds a lot like Levels.... :kink: )

Thank you to those of you that voted for Scherzland, I'm shocked to be 13th (again! :lol:) because my last entry was generally liked more.

This track was predicted to come last by lots of you, so I was thrilled to see some 10's and 12's!!

I'd thank you all personally but I don't have a clue who's who country-wise :(

I would've preferred Numayania to have this success with Heart Attack :P Let It Go is still very good though, so well done Tom! that was very close :o

 

Poor Terra Avium, Overjoyed is a beautiful song. Deserved higher.

As if I won the semi! (And then lost the final :drama: ) Looks like Rich was surprisingly off-base thinking most of my support would come from semi #2...

so I did just scrape through then :lol: nice to know I had a few big supporters though

I honestly thought I scraped through SF2 by the skin of my teeth! Coming second is fantastic news! I also gained 17points (once you remove Letland) which is great. Very shocked by that. So that's 3 top3 Semi finishes in a row which is outstanding for Ashton. Two years ago we couldn't even qualify!

Not really. We gained points. So what we lost by introducing the other semi qualifiers was more than replaced with what we gained from the other semi. So thats good. It's not realistic to expect to carry over most of your semi points as you have different competitors that may appeal more to the people in your semi. Some of the stuff I beat in the semi appealed more to the other semi but shit happens and I'm thrilled to have done so well.

 

If you want to see losing support you have to see the epic fall from grace that was BJSC XV. Ashton came 3rd in the semi and 23rd in the final. Oops.

Oh right I see. I thought that you gaining 100 points in one semi, you could've picked up quite a few more in Semi 1 too seeing it's more pop orientated but I guess it doesn't always happen that way :P
