This rate is to find out Buzzjack's favourite 'forgotten' top ten hit. It features every song that was popular for one week before falling down the charts quickly.

This includes every song that went top 10 for ONE WEEK in the 00s. Even if the song is well known (for example Coldplay's Yellow) it will still be included. Songs that charted for one week at the end of 2009 and continued to chart in 2010 won't count. Songs that first charted in 1999 and charted for one week in 2000 also won't count.

The top 4 from each round will go directly to the final. This means 40 songs will be safe in the final after 10 rounds. Numbers 5 - 7 will go to the semi final round. This means 30 songs will be in the semi finals, 10 of these songs will be in the final. So if your favourite song finishes in the results at number 8 or lower then it has no chance. This means in years such as 2005 where there were far too many one week wonders most of them will be eliminated at the first hurdle.

Here are the results from last game. Thank you to everyone who voted but here is what you've been waiting for.

The Killers become the first act to get more than 200 points in this rate, with "Mr Brightside". Could it go all the way and win? It beats the runner up by 101 points. Keane's "Everybody's Changing" gets through with 107 points. Keane have another high scorer, but it only got to #10 - not good enough for semi finals. Will Young is 3rd with "Your Game". His other entry "Friday's Child" gets no votes at all. Blink 182 finish the top 4 all making it through to the finals. Scissor Sisters, Lucie Silvas and Dannii Minogue all go through to the semi finals with Morrissey and Beyonce just missing out.

Did Will Young SERIOUSLY make it? The loons didn't even come out in force for him :drama: I could've sworn Britney peaked at like #19 with Do Something, it does appear that #6 was the peak, never knew that before! Wish I could've given it points, sadly it's another amazing year for one week wonders!

I'm fairly sure they will. This IS Buzzjack, and it's one of her most highly regarded songs. Is that 4 +15s already I see? :kink:

Absolutely horrible list to sort out, my top 15 are all very close together. "Wake Me Up When September Ends" is my least favourite of the album's five singles, oddly enough. Very honourable mention to:

The Futureheads "Hounds of Love"

The Strokes "Juicebox"

Nine Inch Nails "The Hand That Feeds"

Caesars "Jerk It Out"

of course it will! :P I'm more worried about how badly The Bravery, Coral & White Stripes are doing atm :(

Everybody's Changing ahead of Bedshaped is massively disappointing. The former is MoR tosh, the latter genuinely beautiful, Keane's best song.

A great year, before the chart indie got shit.

Everybody's Changing ahead of Bedshaped is massively disappointing. The former is MoR tosh, the latter genuinely beautiful, Keane's best song.

I still quite like "Everybody's Changing" but it does pale in comparison to "Bedshaped". And "Somewhere Only We Know", which for me is even better.

I'm fairly sure they will. This IS Buzzjack, and it's one of her most highly regarded songs. Is that 4 +15s already I see? :kink:

True, it's just the fact that collectively we have the lack of taste to see bloody Will Young through without the 'fanz' even voting worries me. But yeah, deservedly one of the best songs of all time (imo of course) is on course to SAIL through, but I am generally pessimistic when it comes to things like this :P But of course Queen Kelly will be fine!
