During Madonna's Warner Brothers era she would only appear on her own records and Warner Brothers own compilation albums.

Now Madonna is with Live Nation & Universal this should be different. This may actually help with Madonna's singles sales (as long as it can still be brought separately rather than with the album.)

So here's the first...

Give Me All Your Luvin' is on disc 1 track 7 of "Hit Zone 61".

The cover even features M from the GGW cover. This is out now in The Netherlands.

I did wonder why Madonna never featured on any of the Now compilations! I think that is the same with Eminem, too.
I wonder why this is, because as we know, most songs on Now albums get big boosts on the week the album's released.
Certainly in the 80s and 90s it was done to ensure that if people wanted a madonna single or track you had to buy a madonna so single or album, thus ensuring good sales. Of course since 2007 it would have been wiser to reverse this trend. I always got the impression back in the day that she made it part of her contract in order not to end up on loads of stuff she didn't want. Being a big star she was allowed to do it.

I would think that your right.

Before iTunes was popular Madonna was dead against people cherry picking her songs. She would rather people buy the album rather than certain songs. So, the same maybe said about various artists albums.

Madonna's Hung Up featured on Now That's What I Call the 00's, released in February 2010 - I pressume that Madonna was signed to Live Nation by this time.

Yeah, I was surprised with that!.

I guess it depends what's in her contract with her back catalogue of music.

The radio edit only has Madonna's vocals so unless you got the promotional cd this a good item to have.
