Her promo slots have been fantastic!

Agreed. I knew she'd be able to bag a couple of decent slots because, despite not being a chart force anymore, she's still a big name that has good connections and can get people interested. However, the promo lined up is even strong than I anticipated. I hope all this is really helping the album out.

Sounds like Friday night advert just been on and it seems Kylie is on the opening show 6th April. Gosh with G Barlow, M Trainor etc.

She is packing the promo in .... No wonder she is releasing 6th April

Makes sense, it is the song more people are aware of and that is resonating more with them.

That's a shame to hear, hope she gets better soon. I guess that explains the issues with Sport Relief.
Cancels Aussie gigs and promo. Not surprised. These are lievfull on concerts and compact schedule. Let's hope she is ok for her promo next week ahead of album release. She needs to get back to UK and sleep and rest that throat

She's planning on rescheduling Nova’s Red Room.

She performed five songs last night in Hong Kong: 'Spinning Around', 'Can't Get You Out of My Head', 'Wow', 'Dancing' and 'Love at First Sight'. Still using the Kiss Me Once versions of the songs for now.

Surely she will debut at number one with around 40,000+

I know she opened with 29,000 with her last album but I honestly can't remember one single from that era while I Feel like 'Dancing' has been a hit for somebody like Kylie. I know 'Into The Blue' has a better peak but I think a lot of people will find it easily forgettable.

I really hope so! Promo seems a lot more full on tham Kiss Me Once and the material seems to be much more well-received. BGM have really pushed the boat out to give this album the best opening week sales it can, as well as putting things in place to help stabilize the album in the weeks that follow.

In large Kiss Me Once was poorly received and rightly so as it was an extreme disappointment. Based on what i know of Golden so far it is showing clear signs of a stronger album.

I do agree the record label are showing that they want the album to do well and have got behind it. The multi format release is certainly providing her with a strong chance of achieving another number 1.

Do we know the sales for Into the Blue? like mentioned it does have a higher peak but Dancing feels like it was a bigger hit than it despite a much lower peak.

60k-70k (58k by the time it left the chart). Sales for 'Dancing' should be just shy of 50k.

Well if cassettes have sold out of 4,000...... then Vinyl with different editions may well be around the 8-10,000 mark though this is worldwide so maybe 4k in UK?

if she can do in UK.....

2,000 cassettes

5,000 vinyl

12,000 CDs

5,000 downloads

2,500 streaming

=26,000 conservative......

optimistic would be

2,500 cassettes

7,000 vinyl

15,000 CDs

6,000 downloads

3,500 streaming

= 34,000 optimistic......

bloody brilliant would be

2,750 casettes

10,000 vinyl

20,000 CDs

7,000 downloads

4,000 streaming

= 43,750 copies
