Great news! :D :D :D

Hopefully this means the current release date will stick - unless of course it is brought forward to early June.

I've STILL not heard this song and I listen to Capital every night, so I don't know what's going on there!
I think it's top early for them to play it alot, i'm kinda surprised it's already playlisted tbh

What's that gif in your signature from? The girl on the left is very Rihanna-esque.

It's Bad Girls Club Seaon 9 Reunion :)

I'm listening to this right now for the first time.

On first listen, this sounds GOOD. It's not brilliant but it still sounds very GOOD. I'm sure it'll grow on me and become one of my favourite songs in a few days or weeks! :D

However, this is actually screaming for a Radio 1 Big Thing inclusion from someone. Maybe Nick Grimshaw or Scott Mills?

So we are all hoping that this 30th June release gets brought forward seeing as the tribute versions are doing so well! One reached #60 yesterday before getting deleted. I've just seen that the artwork for the pre-order of 'I Love It' has just been changed! The new artwork is using the image from their Icona Pop and Iconic album and EP releases. Could this mean they are getting ready to release this early? I know I'm clutching at straws, but I just hope that seeing as they are paying attention to the UK release and changing the artwork, they may have realised how well all of the tribute versions are doing and getting ready to release it!

Just seen that this same pre-order is up on the Irish iTunes store for the same release date of 28th June. The version that was rush-released there (as I seem to remember it was rush-released due to tribute versions charting highly) was just a normal single version. I hope they do the same here!

They NEED to capitalise on the fakes and make the pre-order available (like Robin Thicke has done) and stop removing it! I think the whole pre-ordering system is the only thing that will stop these "fakes" and tribute versions from doing anything!
Yeah I think they should too. They do already have the Remixes EP up for pre-order of course, but like you say a separate single pre-order would stop the tributes getting sales. They released a separate single version when they rush-released the song in Ireland a few months ago and have the remixes EP up for pre-order for the same release date as in the UK. Hopefully we'll get that same single version rush-released too or at least put up as another pre-order!

I am amazed that you are a regular on BJ and you haven't heard this song before!

Radio 1 playlisted. :D Did a huge beaming smile when I saw that.

Same here, love that this is getting so much support from everywhere now especially as there was absolutely no momentum at all for the March release! Very weirdly, the artwork for the 'I Love It' pre-order has changed again when you do a search for it, but when you click on it - it is still the same artwork as before! I hope this means they plan on changing the release date. :kink:

This is being used on a Samsung Galaxy advert at the moment, maybe the cover versions could rise up the iTunes Chart because of that?
I saw this advert during Britain's Got Talent yesterday, and it did cause the tribute versions to rise up the chart! There are now 8 versions in the top 1500 as you may have read in the chart thread. :kink:

The girls are now in London according to Twitter! :D Hopefully going to be doing some promotion!
I hope they're on Graham Norton this Friday! I hate how he rarely, ever announces who's performing when he tells us who his next guests are! :( (Still fully expecting John Newman to beat them though.)

Here's a great interview with Icona Pop in The Guardian which you can read here! I never realised they lived in London! They are also on the front cover of this week's Guardian TV guide magazine which you can see below! :D

Also, they have visited BBC Radio 1 and MTV today according to their blog!
