fun. could still have a chance of number 1 the week in between The Wanted & DJ Fresh, although it depends on how well the Jubilee song and Rudimental do

Glad You Came spent 2 weeks at #1 I think (even though some of you claimed it was going to drop faster than The Club is Alive :kink:), so maybe their new song will too. I hope it doesn't though. I'd like We Are Young to get #1 at least for one week.
I assume this jubilee song is out the same day/week that the England Euro 2012 song is out then?

Ah, there is one of those - do we know any details about it? I bet it'll turn out to be another version of Three Lions :P

The Gary Barlow EP thing in the top 30 as a pre-order seems to be a full 7-track EP rather than a standard single with B-Sides or remixes which makes me more confident that I was right it won't be challenging for #1 as sales of the EP might be counted as album sales? Dunno though. We'll see when it's released I guess.

The Saturdays are already down to #9? I'm expecting this song to have a similar chart run to "Notorious". It will be out of the top 40 in about 2 or 3 weeks.
"Similar chart run to Notorious" and "out of the top 40 in 2 or 3 weeks" don't really go very well together.

They only ever got to #6, I'm a little surprised they're still as HIGH as #9 to be honest... and Notorious was top 40 for 9 weeks?

I'm guessing from the lack of youtube hits no one really knows about it yet...

It's terrible. "Shout" was fun, "World At Your Feet" was actually alright but this is just wrong.

Oh dear, I'd have PREFERRED another version of Three Lions. Surely this is going to flop?

I don't think it's that bad at all really, the best since '96 but purely by default. It's not exactly good but I prefer it to most of them... It's a bit cliched but it's catchy, reasonably humerous (in comparison to normally) and I like the use of his catchphrase.

I have no idea. They couldn't have used anyone from the world of football who's more popular, they've certainly picked something that'll actually appeal to the fans it's supposed to, and it's for charity.

I was gonna say. It had a pretty good chart run in the end, and sold a similar amount to All Fired Up.

Is that where you live? I would like to live in London, it seems to amazing.

I hope fun. get #1 this week, but I don't think it will happen.

I live in North London but i've been to Wembley in North West London a lot of times

Of course, being #1 on iTunes means very little if you're not #1 on the overall chart at the end of the week... ;)

Come to thing of it, wasn't there a list here of iTunes #1's that never got to be overall #1's? Perhaps some kind person could bump that list up, or even update it?

Maroon 5 - Moves Like Jagger

This is the only song that i can remember not being official number 1

Cool. I've only been to London a few times in my whole life. Hopefully I can go more in the future. I think it would be fun living there because of the amazing music scene, and casually bumping into famous people every now and then.

Also She Doesn't Mind by Sean Paul recently. This year's Moves Like Jagger, as it peaked at and spent 3 weeks at #2 behind 3 different #1s. And it briefly got to #1 on iTunes.

Unless we get a song later on in the year stalling at #2 behind 4 different #1s, but I doubt that will happen tbh.

That song is quite catchy in places but still quite embarrassing and cringworthy overall, unless we win, I can't see this doing much

although we should see the likes of Three Lions, Vindaloo & World In Motion do quite well at least initially when it starts, just because I know you'll all be thrilled at that prospect :D

I think it will, for the last 2 years we've had a massive selling song in the latter half of the year miss #1

2010 - Eminem feat. Rihanna "Love The Way You Lie"

2011 - Maroon 5 feat. Christina Aguleria "Moves Like Jagger"

2012 - ????

I'd personally love it if The Script, will.i.am and Jessie J did a song together  However, no Tom Jones please

I saw Starboy Nathan while i was walking through Leicester Square a few days ago. Also there was a time that i saw Reggie Yates in Tottenham Court Road.

If England win Euro 2012 the Itunes top 2 would be:

1. Baddiel and Skinner - 3 Lions

2. New Order - World In Motion

fun.'s We Are Young would be one of them "Songs which should be #1 but never got to it" had Rita Ora's R.I.P kept it off from the top of iTunes, seems like it will go #1 this week though. At this point I don't think there's any #2 hits which is big enough to be classified along with Moves Like Jagger and Love The Way You lie yet.
