You know "Baby's Got A Temper" is bad when Bré only gives it 13.

 

It's far from their best but I still ended up nominating it to fill up a slot - pretty awful year and all of the good songs were already qualified/nominated :P The singles off AONO are slightly better but I didn't nominate any of them because 2004 had much better candidates.

Yes, I nominated it :D I even bought their album! I can't believe that a dance Madonna tribute act actually had a top three single and top 30 follow up, and a top 40 (?) album in the UK! I loved them though, I always recall that the lead singer was called Buse and was also a synchronised swimmer :lol:

 

I have their album as well :lol: Needless to say it's shamefully bad. (bar this and a few other ones)

I didn't know they had cracked the UK market! It charted at #1 over here while Madonna's version only got to #2.

I didn't know about the synchronized swimming either! I do know she released a solo single in 2004 (also a cover, shocking!) and that she played in a Dutch soap for a year before completely falling off the radar.

That was the surprise of the results for me, I didn't notice it creeping higher even as I added things up so I had to double-check it was as high as it was when I wrote them up just now.

 

In contrast, I'd noticed Nelly and Jimmy Eat World, for example getting loads of votes...

Boo at Tenacious D missing out by one place (13 points though). Surprised and pleased to see Baby's Got A Temper not finishing dead last, I just hope their other songs to come will do a bit better :P

You're all going to hell for "Tribute" missing out by one place. It's a sad state of affairs when my third favourite song of those that qualified is NICKELBACK.

Days Go By should have done better!

For the record, I'm incredibly pleased with Buzzjack for letting Scooter qualify. Would've slightly preferred Nessaja but I knew that had no chance. Same with ATC, but great to see that do as well as it did.

 

And count me in among the outraged that Tribute just missed out, although I like most of the qualifiers to some extent.
