Olympic torch due here tomorrow, I can't believe the local council has erected a stage and has an orchestra performing and a singer to perform for the 20 minutes that the torch is here. I can think of a few roads which might be better off repaired than all this fuss...

I've just got back from the vets, my little spider monkey (Alfie) is a poorly little boy! hes having trouble going for a pee, apparently it can be very dangerous in cats and the vets told us to bring him in straight away. She couldnt see anything badly wrong with him, so we are taking him back tomorrow :( Not gonna lie, had a little cry when I was told we had to bring him in straight away :cry:

It was good, the crowds were five or six deep where the stage was. I was right at the other end away from all that jazz, though I did hear a few early pieces at around 7 as I was passing. Quite impressive, I thought it was just the torch. Didn't realise it was all the accompanying buses as well..

 

One other thing about this, I am not sure who the star performer was? Was it the police who were beeping horns and giving high fives to the children on their way past or was it the torch bearer? :thinking:

 

Hope Alfie is better soon Laur. *sends cuddles for Alfie and Marley to Laurshire as well as cheer up hugs for Laur* Leaving the Enforcer out is a no no. :nono:

Ohhh that's right, England is preparing for a huge event. Must be special to watch The Olympics so close by.
