She will come across really well, because she is lovely, and shes always had the public love because shes such a sweetheart and likeable. Can't wait to see her as a judge, we saw her a little bit as a guest judge with Ronan on the Australian X Factor when they do judges houses part, and she was great on that Excited. :D

There were some rumours of Leona being in the running as a full-time judge on the next series of X Factor.

 

However, Simon Cowell has ruled her out of the running...

 

Simon Cowell has ruled out Leona Lewis ever returning to The X Factor panel.

 

The former winner appeared as a guest judge in the past but Simon admitted that she wouldn’t be taking up a seat on the panel this year.

 

Speaking to us at the launch of Britain’s Got Talent this week, Simon claimed that Leona was “too nice” for the show.

 

“I don’t think she’d be mean enough, she’s too nice,” he said.

 

Simon also laughed off the idea of James Arthur becoming this year’s new X Factor judge, replying: “I think that’s a no.”

 

I think he has a point, on her guest appearance she said yes to basically everyone. But I think she has a great personality, and is the most credible former contestant. I think it would've been great to see Leona on the panel with Simon, Cheryl and Louis.

But Leona did say no a few times, plus since when has Cheryl been "mean" as such? Hope she'll be a guest judge at some point if they need one though.
