I loved the tweet yesterday saying "Demba Ba is top of the Newcastle scoring list this season. He's also second in Sunderland's"
paul jewell has just been sacked from ipswich i heard. another managerial casualty. who do we think are favourites for that job? :D

Seeing as it's a Championship club, Mick McCarthy is always favourite for every job going!

Speaking of Mick, I'm a Wolves fan, any others on here?

Yawn. Same old same old. Terrible performance from the assistant referees today. I wonder if David Moyes will mention that in his post match interview the horrible hypocrite bast*rd.

That Suarez diving celebration in front of Moyes was amazing

And well justified too. You can't come out with the comments Moyes did in the press before a derby game. I expect the only reason he's taking what happened so well was because Phil Neville dived 20 minutes later. Absolutely hilarious, made my day did that. Number of times Suarez dived 0 - Number of times Everton dived 1.

Really finding it hard to enjoy the league with this awful officiating. No consistency at all

and yet nothing will be done about it

I was partly right earlier, Oldham proved me wrong but Bournemouth didn't. Pity we had to face them during the beginning of Howe's second spell. I hope the home form improves sooner rather than later, so inconsistent.

Anyway, bring on the FA Cup first round against Ebbsfleet.

OK so Suarez was onside for what would probably have been the winning goal. On the other hand he was lucky still to be on the pitch.

Interesting that arguably the biggest game of the season so far (and one of the most eventful) hasn't been mentioned. It's almost like the battle for the last Europa League spot is a big story :D

Perhaps. Who knows what he really intended. I thought it was a bad tackle, but at the same time you could argue he was anticipating Distan would love the ball on to his other foot and he might catch the ball on the off chance. Like I say no-one really knows except Suarez. Still miffed at the end decision though, nothing logical expect the linesman has bottled it. Bad day (yet again) for the officials in any case. And as for the winning goal there's no doubt he was onside, infact there was nothing wrong with the goal at all. The linesman simply bottled it 5/10 seconds after the ball went in to the back of the net. Obviously the crowd got to him. I don't expect to see him doing his job in a Premier League game for a good few months.

Former Blackburn defender, Henning Berg is set to be confimed as the new Blackburn boss at a press conference tomorrow.
Chelsea have started an investigation of their own after reports one of their fans made a racist gesture towards Man Utd's striker Danny Welbeck. This after a picture emerged in the Daily Mail clearly showing a Chelsea fan making a monkey gesture in last night's League Cup match.

That football club has a massive problem. Apparent monkey chants, throwing a steward on to the pitch, allegedly abusing Mark Clattenburg (led by John Terry of course) after the final whistle. Not good.

Chelsea haven't exactly helped matters by keeping Terry as captain.

They've stood by their man. More than likely their man has more influence and power than they'd like to admit.

They've sent a mixed message though by fining him as well as keeping him as captain. I'm sure he - and Lampard - have far more power than any player should have. The sooner they go, the better it will be for Chelsea. So I hope they stay for a few years

Personally I think Ivanovic is the best CB at Chelsea. I think Lampard is losing some power recently as he seems to be dropped from Chelsea's squad a lot more frequently.
