June 1, 201213 yr Oh crap at The Wanted being #1 on bubbling under. GET ON THE ACTUAL CHART. Same for Cher. Rita has made the hot 100 this week then, Umi shall be pleased. :D
June 1, 201213 yr Where is Kylie??? It's weird that she didn't get to the Hot 100 considering she was at number 36 on the iTunes chart during the week....
June 1, 201213 yr I thought it would be obvious to you that streaming did her in. :D But on a serious note, didn't she release on a Friday? When the sales week runs Monday-Sunday.
June 1, 201213 yr I hope Cher is in the Hot 100 next week. cher is making a comeback already??? Great I love her new duet with Gaga...
June 1, 201213 yr cher is making a comeback already??? Great I love her new duet with Gaga... He was referring to Cher Lloyd! As for The Wanted, they're running into the problem most boybands do - the 2nd single. In 1D's case, "1 thing" is like WMYB but 1D themselves have become stars so radio is playing their songs. Wanted haven't yet become the boyband du jour like 1D, so this song is just like any follow-up and will have to do well on its own merit.
June 1, 201213 yr The top 9 this week is EXACTLY the same as last weeks top 9 :manson: How BORING! :drama: Great to see Rihanna just outside the top 10 (surely she'll get in next week, as Phillip Phillips won't have any staying power) and Pitbull in the top 15 :D Ellie Goulding still climbing :o
June 1, 201213 yr Ellie Goulding's Light really is a sleeper hit in the US then. I wonder when will it crack the Top 10? Rather weird considering the only place it's taking off is the States and nowhere else globally
June 1, 201213 yr Oh crap at The Wanted being #1 on bubbling under. GET ON THE ACTUAL CHART. Same for Cher. Rita has made the hot 100 this week then, Umi shall be pleased. :D I am delighted :D I was going to say surely Chasing The Sun will be there next week but it's #89 on iTunes. What was that random resurgence about earlier in the week? I don't see Cher making it in either, she's not top 100 anymore.
June 1, 201213 yr Lights has really surprised us all, never thought it'd go higher than top 50. Last time the top 9 was all non-movers in January 2004.
June 4, 201213 yr So The Wanted are technically #1 in the US. Rihanna should be top 10 next week, but maybe not, if the other 9 songs stay there, as Lil Wayne might manage to debut in there if he releases his new song with Big Sean today. And I really, really, really hope Kanye West can get in the top 10 soon. He's climbing so slowly (but everything climbs slowly in this chart lol). Wiz Khalifa is also bound to be in the top 50 next week with his new song, but it's doing very poorly on streaming so far considering the type of song it is. :( Also good to see B.o.B/Taylor Swift already climbing. I think this has potential to be the first hip hop top 10 hit in what must be months now!! And who will be #1 next week? I think Gotye again, but Carly Rae Jepsen has a chance I think.

I think this has potential to be the first hip hop top 10 hit in what must be months now!! These have already charted at No. 17 and 18. And Both of Us is awful imo, I don't get how it can even be that bad tbh. I doubt it'll ever get enough support to go top 10.
June 5, 201213 yr As for The Wanted, they're running into the problem most boybands do - the 2nd single. GYC was released in October '11, maybe CTS just need more time...
June 5, 201213 yr I'm so happy for Ellie. I was stunned when I heard Lights and discovered it had been left off the first cut of the album.
