I think we need to remember that Radio's will be reluctant to play it at first incase the US doesn't take to them. I'm pretty confident once Chasing The Saturdays starts and they have done some promo and it all goes well airplay will start to pick up..Its still early days it could take another month or so, so we shouldn't judge too much at the mo.

 

I'm just hoping that it all continues to go well, WAU seems to be viewed positively at the moment so fingers crossed it all starts to fall into place soon! :wub:

UPDATE 1 - At around 14:00, What About us dropped in both Us and Canada charts at #667 and # 603 respectively

 

UPDATE 2 - What about us has risen in both charts.

Same. I must admit, they're off to a great start. I'm not used to celebrating their performance on iTunes. :lol:

 

I keep forgetting they're also releasing in the UK lol. Will the music video be on our TV's now, or will it not be sent for another few weeks?

I think they should release the video in the next week for us, and also premiere it on radio. 17th March is too long away, I just hope they decide to bring it forward a few weeks to end of Feb.

it takes timefor new songs/artists to break thru in the US/radio... it may take a while to get radio play. I'm not worried yet, if radio still isn't touching it in a month or so, then I would be.

I really hope they don't return to the UK until March to promote What About Us, knowing The Saturdays they promote at the start and just let it free fall, although their management seem to be fantastic!

 

The video has 700,000 views on YouTube, this is without the song premiering in the UK. Hopefully they have a video that manages to pass 10million views!

It's over 825k now and someone in the comments said it was over the million mark, but I hardly believe it as it was around 709k before it changed to 825k. Would it not change to the million mark if it was already over that?

 

Anyway! It's still huge. They have never done that in less than two days. It's really a great start.

It says 1,000,026 views on their channel but not on the vid.

Definitely over 1 Million now :D

 

That's amazing considering it usually takes them 3/4 weeks to hit over a million.
