Orbital & Lady Leshurr 'Wonky'
BJSCLXIII ♔ 167pts ♔ SF/01/114pts

Aeroche have showed they are 2014's nation to beat as they narrowly miss a fifth win on their landmark 20th contest, achieving a silver medal with Orbital / Lady Leshurr's dance-rap collaboration "Wonky'.

After putting it on the backburner for their entire 20-contest history, the nation decided to put it forward in the wake of many new nations partaking in the contest. This method worked for them with another long-time potential, the iconic Aphex Twin track 'Windowlicker', which reached a 4th place finish in BJSC60. Many could argue that both would not have achieved the same result in earlier editions, and as Aeroche leader Gini, The Dominator has expressed 'we take the contest very seriously, and it has put our small and very green nation on the map. When the time is right to submit an entry, it is right."

The nation was one of three hosts for this month's edition in FARC in what turned out to be one of the most controversial BJSC's ever, after Kathaldazia was relieved of their hosting duties due to ineptness and an unexplained reclusiveness. This position brings Aeroche a Top 3 success rate of 45%, a BJSC record. 'Wonky' also brought home a second consecutive semi win home, to bring the total semi final wins up to three. The song was beaten to the summit by the iconic and very-hyped (especially by Aeroche itself) RuPaul smash 'Sissy That Walk', giving the very hit-or-miss Elëdan a controversial fifth win. Despite the voting drama regarding Cadelicia's vote submissions in the final, in which they accidentally awarded Elëdan two points instead of nation Daehun which would've brought the top two to a tie (that Aeroche would've won), Aeroche are absolutely thrilled with Elëdan's win and have declared it their favourite winner to date.

Aeroche have apparently lined-up a potentially very controversial entry for the next contest that relies on the efforts of a instantly classic track, but it is yet to be 100% confirmed. They are confident it will help to continue their impressive Top 10 streak.

Kraftwerk 'Tour De France, Étape 2'
BJSC Foreign Language II ♔ 179pts

In a year of near wins for Aeroche, 'Tour De France, Étape 2' also brought home the silver medal in the BJSC Foreign Language II spin-off, narrowly missing to the first ever BJSC win for Sandebörg. It did come after non/late-voting deductions for Skall and Elëdan however, who would've held the Top 2 in the contest respectively.

Aeroche gives a special shout-out to Séyetana, who achieved 7th place in the contest and was the nation's 18-pointer, saying they had 'entry envy'.
Congrats to you on your very solid placing, but I would have NEVER guessed it could do so well. I also considered sending it back in 2012 but obviously wouldn't send it because I had already sent Orbital's 'New France'. Anyway, GREAT song and I'm very happy it has done so well.
I really don't understand why you ever thought 'Wonky' wouldn't do well? As soon as you sent it to me like months ago I thought you should send it straight away as it sounded like a super obvious hit. SHOULD HAVE WON (well, Peking Duk should have but yeah)
I completely missed that Cadelicia were meant to award me 2 points instead (which would've placed me ahead of Altyr Muunilinst at #4 and earned a spot within the Top 10 which we haven't placed before! :drama:).

Oliver's mistake just got even worse. Moving RuPaul and Galantis ahead in favour of Orbital and CL. Inexcusable.

Sorry hunty but Cadelicia weren't meant to award you with anything because ultimately I got those 2 points.

You'll be begging for points the next time, considering we awarded you a hefty 12 for "Sissy That Walk".

I won BJSC60 with 0 of your points so try again. :D

the sound of bjsc64 is now incoherent french-electro gibberish.

that is all~
so you're sending one of my potentials ;o which will probably do much better than it would if I sent it now that it's got Aeroche's name behind it.
