Hands off my Teddy: Robbie's in protective dad mode

Dad on the prowl ... Robbie plays minder to Ayda and Teddy

YOU'D better not get between Robbie Williams and his baby daughter.

The portly singer was in full-on protective dad mode aduring a pre-Christmas stroll in LA this weekend with wife Ayda and three-month-old Teddy.

Robbie, unshaven and dressed down in jogging bottoms and a green jacket, walked ahead of his wife and daughter - wrapped up in a baby Bjorn.

And the 38-year-old puffed out his chest when photographers pounced to catch a snapshot of the family outing.

We shouldn't be surprised if he's a little overprotective.

Before Teddy was even born, Robbie admitted he was struggling with the idea of his little girl growing up.

He said: "I'm going to teach her karate and boxing. That's the first thing she's going to learn to keep people like me away."

Broody ... friends say the singer is already planning baby number two

Splash News

But it hasn't put the couple off the idea of having more babies.

Friends reveal Robbie loves fatherhood so much, he's already planning number two.

A source said: '"There was a time Robbie thought he was too selfish to be a parent but he couldn’t have imagined how having Teddy would make him feel.

"He is totally content for the first time in his adult life and to have another child to complete their family would be the icing on the cake. He and Ayda would be over the moon if she conceived again right away."

Robbie, meanwhile, is celebrating a double whammy this weekend.

He scooped our Bizarre Man of the Year award AND secured a Christmas number one - thanks to his contribution to the Justice Collective's cover of He Ain't Heavy He's My Brother.

Robbie sang alongside Mel C, Paul McCartney and Shane MacGowan on the track, which raised money for the families of the Hillsborough disaster.

Entertainer ... Robbie Williams

ROBBIE WILLIAMS thinks ONE DIRECTION can take over the world in the same way a certain girlband did.

The TAKE THAT man said: “They’re quite a power in the way the SPICE GIRLS were. The Spice Girls took over the world and won and I think the One Direction boys have a similar chemistry.”

Talking of chemistry, Rob hasn’t got any tips for HARRY STYLES on attracting ladies.

Considering Harry’s dating the talented multi-millionaire TAYLOR SWIFT, he’s probably right not to offer too much advice.

Rob said: “He’s a magnet like I’ve never seen before. I don’t think Harry needs any tips from me.

“He’s beguiling, and so are One Direction. I wasn’t him when I was 18. That didn’t happen to me.”

You didn’t do too badly, Rob.

Robbie Williams Rumoured For BRIT Awards 2013 Performance

6th January 2013, 10:54

The 'Different' singer is widely expected to close this year's awards ceremony to celebrate his success.

Robbie Williams has been linked to a potential headline performance at this year's BRIT Awards.

The 'Candy' singer is reportedly being lined up to sing at the 2013 ceremony this February, after making a successful pop comeback in 2012 with his latest album 'Take The Crown'.

According to the Daily Star, a spokesman claims although nothing has been finalised Robbie is expected to perform, as well as being a strong contender to win this year's Best British Male award.

Over the course of his lengthy pop career Robbie has already picked up a total of 17 BRIT awards, including winning Best Solo Male on a number of occasions.

Robbie's album 'Take The Crown' has already spawned two successful singles with 'Candy' and 'Different', with 'Be A Boy' tipped to be the record's third release.

The 'Radio' singer is set to begin his first tour in a number of years this June when he begins to tour 'Take The Crown' across a number of dates in Europe.

The BRIT Awards 2013 will be hosted by James Corden and take place at London's O2 Arena on 20th February 2013.

BIFFY CLYRO ON TURNING DOWN ROBBIE WILLIAMS

Biffy Clyro have said they were 'honoured' by Robbie Williams' invitation to record with him during their time in Los Angeles, but felt the 38-year-old singer didn't need any help.

The Scottish rockers were in L.A. last year to record their forthcoming album 'Opposites' when Robbie invited them to play on his solo record 'Take The Crown'.

Lead singer, Simon Neil felt he would being saying yes for all the wrong reasons. He said: "The 15-year-old in me thought it would be amazing. But then I thought, 'Why do I actually want to play on it? Robbie Williams doesn't need my help.' It was an honour to be asked, though."

He continued: "We did get the opportunity to play football at his house too, but recording got in the way. It doesn't matter what kind of music you make, if you dig football then you're alright with us."

The trio also explained how excited they were for fans to hear their next album which has seen them experimenting with different sounds.

Drummer, Ben Johnston told FHM: "The track 'Spanish Radio' in particular shouldn't work. It has a very strange time signature and a mariachi band on it. If we told you that, you'd think we were joking but magically, we've pulled it off.

"It's without a doubt Biffy Clyro, but, well, Mexican at the same time."

'Opposites' is the sixth studio album from Biffy and is due for release on 28 January 2013

I am sure he will perform at the BRITS - would be good promo for the third single (Be A Boy or Gospel but should be Into The Silence) but he will probably end up doing 'Candy;. I can see him getting nominated for Best Male and at the push Best Video or Single but I'd be surprised if he won another BRIT. Olly Murrs or Ed Sheeran are surely the faves?

Olympic athlete Jessica Ennis: 'I turned Robbie Williams down'

Heptathlete and Olympic gold medallist Jessica Ennis has admitted that just after the 2012 Games had come to an end, she was approached by singer Robbie Williams and asked to star in one of his music videos.

Speaking to London's Evening Standard newspaper, she explained that she had to say no to the exciting offer because the timing was wrong:

"It was straight after the Games when I was due to be going home."

When asked if she had turned him down, Ennis joked: "Don’t put it like that. It would have been brilliant but it was a mad time and my family were the priority."

Meanwhile, Williams' chart-topping single 'Candy' has been nominated for Best British Single at the 2013 BRIT Awards, the ceremony for which will take place on February 20 at London's O2 Arena.

Everyone seems to be turning him down lately...

Soooo, from Robbie being a 'sure thing' to win Best Male at the Brits ( papers last week), he's not even nominated?

I hope Olly wins then. ^_^

'This is for my lovely son': New mother Adele dedicates Best Original Song award to her baby after winning for Skyfall

She's riding high on the wave of new motherhood and now Adele has something else to make her smile... a Golden Globe.

After making her red carpet return for the first time since giving birth 12 weeks ago, the London-born singer clinched the Best Original Song for her self-penned James Bond theme tune, Skyfall.

Wearing a black Burberry gown, the 24-year-old paid tribute to her baby son - whose name she has yet to reveal - and boyfriend Simon Konecki as she accepted the accolade.

Mwah! An excited Adele kisses her award for Best Original Song in a Motion Picture for Skyfall at the 70th annual Golden Globes

Sharing the joy: Adele was in high spirits after winning her award

The Rolling In The Deep star proved a gracious winner as she joked about how she'd only come for an excuse to have a night out.

Accepting her accolade on stage, she said: 'Honestly I've come here for a night out!

'I was not expecting this... thank you so much for letting me be a part of your world for a night. I've been p***ing myself laughing.

'This is for my boyfriend who convinced me to do it and for my lovely son.'

A mother's love: Adele dedicated her win to her baby son

VIDEO We are new mums who came for a night out! Adele's speech:

Joining Adele in the audience was fellow new mum Ayda Field and husband Robbie Williams, who the cameras flashed on during her acceptance speech.

Earlier that evening, the new mum turned heads showing off her slimmed down figure in a trademark black gown, with a beehive hairdo, looking every inch an award winner.

The dress, which was cinched in at the waist showed off her post-baby figure, while the three-quarter length sleeves kept her arms covered.

While the gown may have been completely black, the embellished collar added a touch of glamour to her whole look.

She's back! Adele made her first appearance on the red carpet since giving birth at the 70th Annual Golden Globe Awards on Sunday

Playing it safe: Adele wears a typical black gown in a similar style to dresses she has previously worn on the red carpet

Not wanting to distract from the jewelled detail, the singer wore her hair in an elaborate and glamorous up do.

Completing her look she wore her usual flick of eyeliner, while her skin looked flawless.

Speaking on the red carpet about making the track, she said: ‘I was very pregnant and very emotional, but it was amazing.’

Opening up: Adele revealed 'Motherhood is lovely, I'm really enjoying it'

‘I got the script a long time ago and it took me quite a while for them to convince me.’

She added: ‘It's a big responsibility.’

The usually very private star opened up about becoming a parent, saying: 'Motherhood is lovely, I'm really enjoying it'

Ahead of the ceremony the singer made a rare appearance on Twitter to reveal her excitement about being nominated, she wrote: ‘Oh my god I feel like Meryl Streep!! Thank you x’

Excited: Adele looked delighted to be making her first appearance at the Golden Globes

The singer and her boyfriend, Life water co-founder Simon welcomed their baby boy on October 19.

They arrived in Los Angeles on Thursday with their three-month-old son in tow. Although Adele won Best Song at the 2013 Critics’ Choice Awards that night, she didn’t attend.

Adele first announced her pregnancy via her website, writing: 'I'm delighted to announce that Simon and I are expecting our first child together. I wanted you to hear the news direct from me, obviously we're over the moon and very excited but please respect our privacy at this precious time.'

Mr Bond: Daniel Craig looks cool as he arrives while his wife Rachel Weisz looked stunning

The 24-year-old Adele and the 36-year-old Simon were first seen together in January 2012.

Since then they have resisted the continuous marriage rumours with Adele taking to Twitter to clarify, 'I'm not married.'

Adele was fiercely protective as she walked through the terminal after landing at LAX on Thursday evening, keeping her baby covered in a blanket - only his legs were dangling free in his black and white striped one-piece outfit.

She has still decided to keep her baby’s name a secret.

Robbie Williams' New Nickname

Robbie Williams has revealed the new nickname he's given himself after his first few months as a father.

The Candy singer became a dad for the first time last September when his wife Ayda Field gave birth to their daughter Theodora Rose.

'I enjoy changing nappies,' said the 38-year-old to Grazia magazine. 'I'm a good burped too. I call myself Daddy Windings.

'It has all come quite naturally to me.'

Robbie admitted that fatherhood has calmed him down, and that he feels more happy than ever with his family.

'Complete happiness is being in bed with my wife and daughter. There needs to be massive pillows, a wonderful duvet and 500 different TV channels.

'I'm the happiest I've ever been right now.'

Robbie Williams has trust in wife

Robbie Williams loves his wife because of the trust and humour they share.

The 38-year-old singer is closer to spouse Ayda Field - with who he has four-month-old daughter Teddy - than anyone else and says that is because of the bond they have.

Asked who he is closest to, he said: ''My wife Ayda, because she's somebody I trust implicitly and understand.

And I love that she also trusts and gets me in return. She's also really beautiful, clever, smart and makes me laugh. Our madness dovetails really well.

Robbie has previously battled drug addiction and says these days, his idea of a good time after a show is watching television with his little girl.

He told Grazia magazine: ''After a gig last year, I tweeted a picture of me with my baby daughter Teddy.

We sat in an armchair watching to football on TV together. That's the after-show party and ultimate relaxation for me now: baby in one hand, TV remote in the other and a chocolate in my mouth.

My relaxation is the exact same. Except for the baby that is :P

That's one pampered pooch! Robbie Williams treats his canine companion to a day out at the Chateau Marmont

By LOUISE SAUNDERS

He has made no secret of the fact that his brood of pet pooches are his pride and joy.

But Robbie Williams proved just how pampered his pups are as he treated one to a lavish day out at the Chateau Marmont on Sunday.

Not content with taking his fluffy friend for a stroll, the 38-year-old singer got the adorable white poodle-cross to accompany him to the lavish Los Angeles hotel for the day.

Pampered pooch: Robbie Williams treated his pet pup to a day out at the Chateau Marmont on Sunday

With the Candy hitmaker clutching his laptop as he made his way into the building, it would seem he was keen to get down to some business - but couldn't bear to leave his pooch behind.

And rather than jump out of the boot of his car himself, the canine companion even had an assistant to help him out safely.

Robbie looked casual for his day out, wearing a navy blue jumper with baggy jeans and clumpy trainers.

Canine cutie: The pup even had someone help him out of the back of the car

The Take That star completed his look with a pair of dark Ray Ban wayfarer-style sunglasses and his hair swept up into his trademark quiff.

Robbie and his wife Ayda Field - who have a four-month-old daughter Teddy Rose together - are the proud owners of eight dogs.

And the pet pooches play such a pivotal role in the couple's relationship that they even acted as Ayda's bridesmaids.

Tickled: Robbie looked a little amused as his canine companion was transported out of his white Range Rover

She said at the time: 'Our doggies are taking the bridesmaid roles! I was originally thinking little bow ties for them but instead they’re going to each have flower collars.'

Meanwhile, Robbie spent thousands of pounds transporting the brood over the the UK last year on a luxury cruise liner because he feared they would die in the hold of an aeroplane.

Speaking on Graham Norton's chat show, he said: 'All eight are coming over on the Queen Mary because I am scared they will freeze in the hold of a plane.'

Day of fun: The 38-year-old singer looked as though he was about to get down to some work as he carried his laptop into the hotel

If he wasn't a famous multi-millionaire do you think that posh hotel would have let his doggie in?

Robbie Williams draws attention to Syrian humanitarian crisis

Pop star Robbie Williams is raising awareness of the plight of Syrian children as part of his role as an ambassador for the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF).

The singer wants to make more people aware of the humanitarian crisis unfolding in Syria, where millions have been left without food, clothing or medical aid as the country's civil war continues.

A post on Williams' website reads, "The worst winter in 10 years and exposure to unspeakable violence is leaving children cold and frightened. With heavy snows, plummeting temperatures and extremely limited food, fuel, clothing and shelter, children are freezing, traumatised and in need of our help.

"The situation is so desperate that for only the second time in UNICEF history a level three emergency has been declared. Only when the focus shifts from the conflict in Syria to the humanitarian crisis caused by it will any progress be made. Today you can help achieve this by raising your own voice online."

The Angels hitmaker wants fans to "make some noise for the children of Syria" by sharing the post on their Facebook.com and Twitter.com pages.

The message concludes, "Thank you in advance to everyone who takes action."
