Edit: although I can't see how RW would be able to fit anything in for the next two years because of what he's already said he's got planned. Maybe in time for the 30th anniversary.

With a new album in the pipeline it looks likely that it will not happen ...

Cheers for that Laura, it's a nice video. The tour seems to have gone pretty well , a lot of people turned up anyway :P

I've always thought for one so lacking in self belief that he's got a lot of balls for what he does but when I heard what he said on that Upfront video. He doesn't know if anyone will turn up when he announces these things. He doesn't know if he will fall flat on his face but he goes and does them anyway in countries he's never been before and through willpower/talent/hard work/strength of personality, he makes it a success. I admire him a lot for that. Like I said - he's got balls. B-)

it seems that UTR will not be out this year. So all the recording was for the proper album. Or maybe he is doing a stint in TT?

I wasn't on chat when he said all this but I was on shortly after and I thought everyone was saying then that he was going to a meeting to discuss UTR2 that day - but anyway it seems to be accepted that it will be next year now which is a big shame as I love UTR so much and was looking forward to new music.

 

However - I did think he was pushing it time wise to get the new album out before Christmas what with the tour and the proper album to be written for. Plus of course his "secret" gig whatever that is which is supposedly when the tour ends.

 

He's going to be in Oz nearly a whole month and he did say on chat he was going to be really busy before Oz so I guess he's got his plate full at the moment.

 

He was obviously being over optimistic when he thought he could do Under The Radar as well. Shame :(

 

but understandable :) It's all cool :)

I'm keeping everything crossed for Soccer Aid now :coffee:

It's gone very quiet in the Robbie camp. I wonder what he's up to? :)

 

He said he was going to be really busy every day up to the tour in Oz. He's stopped tweeting. Must be busy. ^_^

I thought that too. Normally there was at least a bit of information during the last two years in between. But if the fans are posting old stuff, there is quietness in the Robbie camp. I am so curious of what to come.

Nice, that is exciting! I can't wait for the next album and it will be cool to have some more unreleased tracks in the form UTR2 :)

So I've just read online that Robbie will be in Sydney (not literally Tess <_< ) on 2nd October and on XF Australia 6th. So that must mean he's leaving for Australia today. :o

 

I kind of thought he still had a week to go before he had to leave. :huh:

 

Do you think they'll all be going together? I hope so. The last gig is 3rd November. That's an awful long time to be away.
