Robbie Williams has beaten the record for ticket sales in a while ...

In the first 90 minutes from the sale of tickets for Robbie Williams concert in Romania, they have bought 21,500 tickets, and their number is growing, organizers announced.

 

British singer will perform in Bucharest on July 17 and artist manager said that show will be held in Constitution Square. Tickets at the discounted price of 151.2 lei can purchase network Germanos stores and available online on the eventim.ro were exhausted. The five categories of tickets Eventim network available in our online prices ranging between RON 189 and RON 680.40 for VIP category.

 

The record for ticket sales was owned by violinist Andre Rieu, who managed to sell concert scheduled on June 13, over 12,500 tickets in less than three hours. Robbie Williams has beaten sales record of such artists as The Rolling Stones, Madonna, Depeche Mode or Lady Gaga.

He's done really well so far ... tours I believe are hugely expensive

Would last all of five minutes I would think ... :lol: you need tons of patience to do those shows & a thick skin with it :huh:

I read on Robbie Williams Diario Italiano that he is doing Swing at the Summer festivals, not sure it's a good idea, I liked the swing thing but I have had enough of it now :unsure:

Yep me too - although I'm guessing he will only slip in a couple - I think he said a mix. Like at the Rock in Lisbon thing last year I'm guessing.

 

 

I'd love to see him act but don't think it's going to happen any time soon unfortunately. -_-

I can imagine him as a great actor, but I agree, he will not have he patience. I am still wondering what he is up to with Rufus and Helena Bonham Carter.

I also thin that the festival set will be just like Rock in Rio or Singapore.

If he does too much swing I already see the casual festival visitor slipping away. But Once again I rely on their experience. Until now they got the mix right

I think they will get it right for the festivals, they have to , Robbie & Guy will make sure of that , Tom Longworth is a great addition to the band, he has great energy for Robbie to bounce off , the whole package works well live .
