I so want Pound The Alarm to be a massive number 1 over the summer.

Pound the Alarm will not go to #1. :lol: Similar to the situation with Where Have You Been, it's not that liked in the real world. I think PTA will chart at #3.

Precision Tunes still at #4, so not deleted yet and still no sign of the real version being added. They're top 10 in the mids today so unless one of those things happens that's an official top 10 in the bag. It'll probably fall back to about #70 next week though (I would say it'll drop out of the top 100 but it'll probably still be iTunes top 10 for most of Sunday at least).

 

Ugh at Emeli going up to #12 with the 59p effect. Could still go top 10 then <_< Avicii up to #17 though, would love to see him re-peak :D Also Flo Rida/Sia back up to #31 (hadn't notice it was climbing so much from the 59p effect until I just checked the mids and it was showing up as a top 40 re-entry) and 'Shake It Out' is back in the top 40 at #36 :wub:

 

Trey Songz holding up very well so far, still at #18. Katy already as high as #21 :o I haven't really been paying any attention to 'Wide Awake' but it looks like it'll be another big hit for her, possibly even bigger than 'Part Of Me' (it's already #2 on US iTunes as well).

 

'No Church In The Wild' FINALLY in the top 40 (#38). I think it's on an advert now which probably explains why it's suddenly up there. Top 40 officially next week hopefully! Ben Howard is back up to #39, I assume he's performed it somewhere as it's still 99p.

 

'Three Lions' back up to #80 so far ahead of the England-Sweden game. Maybe it could actually break the top 40 this time if we win.

Seems strange that no new football songs have been released this year, the charts are usually flooded with them come Euro/World Cup. The buzz around England is minimal this year to say the least though, I haven't noticed many flags up in cars/windows like I usually do.

If we win the group and avoid Spain then you'll get the buzz again. Albeit for a brief period until we draw the Ities or the Germans

I think that's pretty sure. I can remember some fakes were close to the top 10 but they've got deleted in time.

Yes, it really is becoming farcical. There have been fakes before of course but I don't think there's ever been anything remotely like this. Payphone has been out for ages elsewhere in the world, so why hold it back here? Somebody else said that this might make record companies re-think the whole OAOS strategy. In general, that would be a good thing.

Maybe if England qualify, that'll all change. In a group with France, Sweden and Ukraine you'd expect England to fare well to some extent. However, most of my mates and work collagues just think England will fall short and finish third in their group by something like 1 point.

I'm not following the football really, but I hope Italy win, as I get £22 if they do. :lol:
