Been listening to this album for the most of today... love it so much. Her voice, the production.
I really need to listen to this. '110%' was good but 'Running' is still sublime.

Really loving the album!

"110%" remains the absolute standout (and one of the finest singles of the year!) but there are plenty of solid songs here. A bit of a shame that "Strangest Feeling" was demoted to the deluxe version of the album only as a bonus track, and that "Valentine" (the duet with Sampha last year) was missed entirely, but otherwise a great debut.

The title track has IMMENSE production. Seriously incredible.

I guess she's not as dull as I thought after all.

I thought my expectation for this might be a little high after the singles, but I absolutely adore it. I've been obsessing over it all day, I just can't get over how wonderful the production is just wonderful. I can't even call out any highlights, because I'd just end up naming everything. A little early or not, I already think this is my favourite album of the year so far.
I thought it was a pretty strong album on first listen. There's nothing that stands out as "AMAZING" quite like "Wildest Moments" does, but it feels like an album which is always a good thing. "110%" is growing on me too after disliking it for quite a while. I'll think of something better to say after a few more listens!
After liking "110%" and "Wildest Moments" and loving both of them (the latter is still growing on me too) and reading the positive feedback, I think I need to definitely to check this album out. I agree with others - she just feels so classy.
Yeah this is a real grower of an album, although it was also very instant. Easily in my top 5 of the year so far, probably 3rd behind Electra Heart and Blown Away. I didn't expect it to be quite so amazing but it really is just stunning

I'm sorry but apart from a couple of songs this is dull. I mean I LURVE production in most of the tracks but she sounds so tired and... boring. :(

Getting ready to receive comments about how I'm the worst human being ever. :(

Stop describing Four!

So after my first listen the first half of this album has some really sublime moments (bar Running). It's most effective to me where she leaves the R&B template alone and forges some kind of cosmic pop (that seems to touch on some of the things Prince used to do.) It's where she just seems to be copying all that bland 80s casual soul fodder that this album really falls down. 110% definitely falls into this category.

So some true brilliance and some duff 80s soundalike dross.

The title track and Wildest Moments are divine though.

I haven't given the album a listen yet, but for me '110%' and 'Wildest Moments' don't come anywhere close to 'Running', which made me interested in her initially.
I have now listened to it enough to fairly say I LOVE IT. The only tracks I'm not very keen on are Still Love Me and No To Love, the former IS boring and the latter odd. Wildest Moments is just pure perfection though.
Such a good album, Night Light is absolutely sublime. 100% is probably my favourite of the three singles, surprisingly, but I prefer a lot of the album tracks to them.
"Taking In Water" is just so perfect. I doubt it would ever get a singles release, but it should in my opinion. I suppose "Swan Song" would probably be the safest route in that department though for a release.
