Personal update from Leona

 

Hi buns!

 

So I’ve lots to fill you in on!

 

I shot my acoustic video where I sang 5 of my songs live with a pianist and cellist. It was a really cool shoot and the players were brilliant. I haven’t watched it back yet as it’s still being edited but I’m excited to see how it comes out!

 

Ive been listening to lots of final mixes of my songs and perfecting it all, I’m so close now.

 

In the meantime Spirit has been training hard for his Show ‘cool August nights’ which he’s in this weekend, I get so nervous for him but he always does so well. He loves getting groomed and fussed over the day of the show then he gets lots of treats and goodies!

 

We finally finished the video for ‘Trouble’. I met Colton Haynes who’s one of the sweetest guys ever! We had lots of scenes that were quite intense and he totally made me feel relaxed and at ease! Such a great actor and true pro.

 

In one scene I’m in a bed and as I got out I fell and hit my toe ouch! I thought it was broken and had to have the doctor come check me out. I ended up being shoe-less for most of the video because of it haha.

 

I had the first play of trouble (heart flutters) I can’t believe it’s finally out there and I can share it with you!

Thank you so much for all the support and love you’re showing Trouble, I really have poured my heart and soul into it!

I think they are being smart this time round. I have a feeling the video premiere will be the same week that Leona guest judges on X-factor. That will really build up some hype, then airplay should increase a lot and we get an Epic X-factor performance :w00t: I'm getting so excited! :)

So, Where are we all expecting Trouble to chart? I think top 3 after her x factor performance! Not sure about #1 tho, Hopefully her album will get #1 that matters more.

Well, considering there aren't any major releases out that week (I think) and that Happy did 80k first week 3 years ago, I think it could get to #1 with over 100k sales. :)

This is a HUGE grower. I'm fully on board now.

I can't see this selling more than about 60k in its first week, but I think it could end up with sales of a good bit over 200k by the end of the year and over 300k in the long run. The album performance is the real make or break for her career though.
