Out of the Top 10 on iTunes... :(

#11. Thank god for Alan Carr promo tomorrow. + Stand Up For Cancer on the following friday (19th) Where she will hopefully be performing it. I'm hoping with the solo release of Trouble off GlassHeart will mean it wont fall too much in the second week. Come on radio/tv help out a bit!

Really the 59p strategy should be used maybe the following week.

I do worry how Leona's career is going, while she is still doing well, she at the same time is sliding with each release, both trouble and collide will have both underperformed and i dont think the album will do any more than platnum at the best. My fear is the decline will continue with each album.

 

I do like Leona but trouble has done nothing for me at all, i think she needs a strong big ballad in this era to ensure glassheart is relatively successful. My other owrry is if trouble is the lead single because its the best on the album i know its an album i wont buy.

Trouble #7 in todays chart. 9th top 10 hit. :D Would have loved #5 but still happy with #7 considering the circumstances. Now for GlassHeart! :dance:

I, for one, did not buy Trouble because I knew the album was coming out one week later. Many fans might have done the same.

 

I LOVE the album. To me, Leona makes fantastic albums, rather than blockbuster singles. I love every song on Glass Heart except 2!

Very true diamondtooth, also with the main version having a rapper on the single it may have alienated a huge percentage of the fanbase, so i'm hoping they are just waiting for either the solo version or even better to buy the album. :D

 

Also good news Trouble (ft Childish Gambino) 14 (from being #16 all day) :)

So glad she managed to stay top 10, I thought she'd chart at around #11 but even though she didn't get #1 or even top 3 like I hoped, she did get another top 10 so I can't complain, I bought it and thats good enough for me :)

I don't think it's a brilliant result, of course it wouldn't be so bad if the chart run is going to be good but sadly I see this lasting 4 weeks in the top 40 maximum and selling less than 100k in total.

 

It's a shame, I do actually really like this. A lot more than 'Collide'.

Sad thing is was only a few hundred away from #6 and few thousand from #5. 35K total this week which is pretty good for a song which still (even this week) is not top 50 on radio. Little good news trouble up a few places to #23 on TV, better then nothing I guess.

Trouble still #15 and #94 with leonas solo version off glassheart which is climbing well :)

What's infuriating is that this is a great song and had radio picked this up, then it would have gone top 3 at the least. I wonder why radio aren't supporting Leona anymore? She needs an AMAZING song that radio has no choice but to play. I'm not sure which track off the album would do this - I think perhaps Glassheart (especially because the acoustic version is just as good as the main version).

Only 5 places in midweek chart update to #12. Hopefully can stay there.

 

Trouble is off Radio1's playlist today. Made it top B-List.

Trouble never entered top 50 on radio. So disapointing. -_-

Leona performed it as a duet of The Voice of Germany earlier today!

 

It's currently #28, #118 & 758 on German itunes. The album is also at #48 on the itunes album chart there, but it's only up for pre-order. The album gets release in Germany 18th January and she has some more promo in Germany - Dancing on Ice event thing on 31st Janaury and perhaps some more promo to be confirmed. Looks like the album may do decently in Germany at least :)

 

The performance also had an effect in Austria: #61, #65 & 824. It also had an effect in Luxembourg and Switzerland. The EP is charting in all the countries mentioned so far and is charting in the countries album charts based on pre-orders alone (except Switzerland, where it's already released). :)
