Indeed, what was the point of 'Shout For England 2012' when we already have 'Three Lions 1996' which can be recycled every two years to greater effect? :D At least 'Shout For England 2012' didn't get to no. 1 :P

 

Personally, Italy played the better football. England were knackered by the end of the second half and were pretty much useless in extra time. Surprise surprise, we lost on penalties!!! Will there ever be a year when England WIN on penalties?

The Christmas songs did significantly BETTER last year than the year before (helped a lot by the mass price reductions but even after they were put back to 99p almost all of them were doing better than at Xmas 2010). The Halloween effect last year was a lot weaker than previous years though.

Pirlo is pure class, and with England not wanting to play football it was easier for him.

 

And Italy is not even the better team when it comes to technical ability... I also think Germany has an amazing technical ability and they aren't latins, it's how you show the young players to play football. Ozil, Rois, Kroos, Gotze... all of them have a great technical ability. The Germany football school is doing it right, the England one is doing it wrong, really wrong.

 

Nobody is as good as Spain at the moment though.

I think Germany has a chance if they don't change the way they play, they did it in 2008 and 2010 when playing against Spain and look what happened... they shouldn't do what France did yesterday.
