July 19, 201213 yr Just in time for Christmas... That's what I thought...it seems like the perfect Christmas gift so hopefully it should do well!
July 24, 201212 yr Can't believe these have not been shown yet: http://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7ds0dMe9X1r5jxdgo2_1280.jpghttp://25.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m7ds0dMe9X1r5jxdgo1_1280.jpg
July 26, 201212 yr I have to disagree with the date. Kylie fans would want it when the market is quiet, and because the album market is poor the album should come out at anytime. The earlier the better though, as we still have albums from Tulisa and Little Mix, as well as Jessie J.
July 26, 201212 yr The album market always picks up at Xmas time and this is the kinda album that would sell well at that time. (I have had a Uturn on the date, its far away but I can wait)
July 26, 201212 yr I have to disagree with the date. Kylie fans would want it when the market is quiet, and because the album market is poor the album should come out at anytime. The earlier the better though, as we still have albums from Tulisa and Little Mix, as well as Jessie J. I've heard one rumour which suggests the album is out 27th August, although I think a release in time for Christmas would be better, although I would have preferred October/early November, as 25 November would mean it charted for the 2nd December - so it would only have 4 weeks of big sales and possibly be at risk of plummeting like the majority of "perfect for Christmas" releases do (that's presuming that the album will be successful).
July 30, 201212 yr Alanis Morissette is due to slay on August 27th :smoke: let Kylie wait until November.
July 31, 201212 yr Alanis Morissette is due to slay on August 27th :smoke: let Kylie wait until November. Don't think that would sell...
September 5, 201212 yr NewsKYLIE – THE ABBEY ROAD SESSIONS Kylie Minogue releases her brand new album “The Abbey Road Sessions” on Parlophone Records on October 29. The album features sixteen tracks, all radically reworked, spanning Kylie’s incredible 25 year career. The album was recorded in London’s legendary Abbey Road Studios with Kylie’s band and a full orchestra. Nick Cave re-recorded his vocal on the famous duet, “Where The Wild Roses Grow”, especially for the album. Other highlights of the album include a wonderfully poignant “Better The Devil You Know”, the ever-amazing “Confide In Me”, a sultry “On A Night Like This”, a joyous “All The Lovers”, the beautiful “Finer Feelings” and a version of “The Locomotion” which swaggers with true 1950’s panache. Over all 16 tracks one thing becomes very clear – stripped of her high end pop production, the emotional resonance of many of Kylie’s songs has never been clearer, nor has her voice ever sounded better. Kylie will perform most tracks from the album with the BBC Symphony Orchestra this Saturday September 8th at London’s Hyde Park, headlining Proms In the Park. September 5, 201212 yr I would rather like her to do more songs from DeCon era, but I'll give the tracklisting a just pass...
September 5, 201212 yr This release further emphasises what a waste of time the recent best of was. I must admit the album cover is breathtaking as its radically different from previous releases by Kylie. I mark this release as interesting, as i do like this style of music, can Kylie fully pull this off, i dont know but i am certainly eager to give this a try. That said, this is a very different release from Kylie and nothing like she has done before so i am intrigued by how it will be recieved by her hardcore fans and also by the general public who may on a normal release may take heed of Kylie's pop/dance genre releases.
September 5, 201212 yr :w00t: :w00t: :w00t: I've just DIED! So looking forward to it, she looks great on the album cover too! Wonder what tracks are on the deluxe.
September 5, 201212 yr Really hoping CIM is similar in style to the version on the US tour <3 And I will of course be going deluxe :cheer:
