Kylie can still compete, better first week sales than what some people call "more relevant" artists, beating Paloma Faith, Cheryl and Ellie Goulding.

Anyone care to predict what position Kylie will be in the midweeks today, i myself think it will be number 6.
Midweek #9. Not bad then, especially if the many new entries currently in the Top 10 will inevitably drop during the week - it's just a question of whether Kylie will fall much further too.
Kylie did climb back into top10 on itunes yesterday following her appearance on the one show. I think the album will be no8/9 by end of the week.
While i had hoped top 7 at worst initially i just hope #9 is as low as she goes, some of the new entries will probably fade so hopefully Kylie will start steadying up a bit.

NE 08 Aerosmith

Kylie could easily over take Aerosmith and Chris Moyles. If Kylie sells about half of what she did in her first week, she could easily stay Top 10.

Jonathon and Charlotte could over take Kylie, but hopefully not as their promotion (ITV show) was well aired so maybe the peak of sales will have come for them. Apart from that i would think she could potentially overtake Chris Moyles and Aerosmith as they would be big fan base buys that people would have purchased asap so as a result Kylie may steady up and overtake them, i would love Kylie to move back up to number 7.
Horrible drop over in Ireland for the album, it slides 20 places from number 10 to number 30 this week
At least it's doing better in the UK - #7 on today's mids, so it will easily be Top 10 on Sunday. I just hope it won't have a massive drop after that.

Doing ok on a global scale!

Down to #7 in the UK, up two from its midweek position, and ahead of Chris Moyles and Aerosmith like I thought, which are both out of the Top 10.
Delighted with the UK position, even if she drops she has promo on strictly next week which will give it a boost again.

Looking at the release schedule for this week, I can see Alfie Boe, Green Day, One Direction, Rod Stewart, and Rolling Stones debut in the Top 10. With the exception of One Direction who will be in the Top 2, the rest of them could debut anywhere in the Top 10, so I would say Kylie could easily return to the Top 5.

All those albums mentioned hav epotential to go top 10 as most of their releases usually do, so Kylie will probably fall to top 15 this week.
Aphrodites second weeks sales were 30,619 and its third was 21,504, i actually thought they were lower. Makes me doubt if abbey roads will make platnum seeing that aphrodite struggled so get there after such strong opening sales of the first 3 weeks.
