August 3, 201212 yr Author I prefer the Pulse Club Mix over the Vintage Throwback Remix for sure. I wonder why she didn't put those verses into the main version though? I've only just realised that, ad libs aside, she only sings the chorus and the middle 8! Edited August 3, 201212 yr by Neil
August 5, 201212 yr I really wish she would release a this with her verses on the original version, I don't even mind Meek's rap that much just get rid of Ross. The beat in the original is so much better than the remixes.
August 5, 201212 yr ^ Same here, the dance remixes are good enough but what I'm really waiting for is just an edit of the original with a couple of Mariah verses rather than some of the rap!
August 6, 201212 yr I don't know why but I love this single so much  I have the original on repeat since yesterday and can't get enough of it !
August 8, 201212 yr Totally over this. The various dance mixes aren't up to much either. That chorus is a real non-event. I'll stick with Obsessed...
August 8, 201212 yr 9 times out of 10 it's true. There hasn't been a universally adored male pop album (by a mainstream artist) since FutureSex/LoveSounds! He needs to take his bloody actor hat off and make another FutureSex/LoveSounds. He somehow made interesting pop music despite being a bit of a plonker.
August 8, 201212 yr Totally over this. The various dance mixes aren't up to much either. That chorus is a real non-event. I'll stick with Obsessed... THANKYOU. I'm so glad I'm not the only one failing to see the fuss with this, complete non-event. Very disappointed. :(
August 9, 201212 yr I'm so disappointed! She rarely fails to impress me with lead singles but this is SO vanilla! You can barely hear what she's saying on the chorus. This will not be a hit.
August 11, 201212 yr The album isn't out until March 2013, so fingers crossed we can an Obsessed/We Belong Together or two before then! She'll have Idol to promote on then, what immaculate timing....!
August 11, 201212 yr It hasn't said anywhere that it is just a promo single, but I'm 99% sure it'll end up 'forgotten' off of the album after it flops in at #178 everywhere. Well she did shoot the video and apparently it was quite extravagant so I can't see why she'd not release it. I am glad that she won't launch the album off this though, even if we have to wait a while!

I am glad that she won't launch the album off this though, even if we have to wait a while! It hasn't no, however common sense has kicked in since after a week into "Triumphant"s release, they announce the album release date to be in 7 months or so.
August 16, 201212 yr I actually think this is one of her best (but I only know about 5 singles of her). I like the addition of Rick Ross and Meek Mill. Obvious flop alert though because the RnB/Hip-Hop sound hasn't been a guarantee for a hit since 2005. Edited August 16, 201212 yr by Atonement
August 21, 201212 yr The video has premiered; http://www.vevo.com/watch/mariah-carey-1/t...em/USUV71201260 It's ridiculous, as ever with Mariah's videos. But not really in a good way this time ... she looks good though. The song hasn't grown on me at all though.
August 21, 201212 yr Its a bit boring, Meek Mill seems the star and almost every shot of Mariah sees her blocked by rope :/.
August 21, 201212 yr The video isn't anything special and nor is the song either really. I still like it but I hope for better.
August 22, 201212 yr Author Lol @ the lack of close ups she has. Even when she's singing it's like the camera isn't really focussed on her.
