Vile single cover :mellow: The promo images are amazing though, they should have been the cover!

The more I look at the cover the more I like it.

EXACTLY!!!. The Born This Way Ball was huge, if anything her fanbase just keeps growing. She's nearly on 40 mil followers !!!!!!

Really liking that and guessing she's playing some deranged clown in the video then? Excited.

 

The new promo images are increadible too but obviously don't relate to applause or the single so this works. Could be my favourite since Bad Romance but then she never was brilliant with artwork post then anyway.

It's a little odd, although the lead single last time out had excellent artwork and the album's turned out to be a dud so I'm not worried. Far more important how it sounds anyway.

To be honest, the artwork for the last era was dire but if it had all followed the theme of these two I'd have loved it!

The Edge of Glory single cover is one of my favourites, as well as the Paparazzi and Judas covers.

 

Gaga said in the interview (on the site the Applause cover was released) that all of the single/album covers this era will be totally different, none will look the same or be from the same shoot. Also, the start of the music video will be Gaga at the end of a concert.

 

The cover has really grown on me now, I love it.

I still don't think Applause was the right single choice from what we've heard, especially if she's asking us to applaud for her.
