It sounds amazing *.*

I've been trying to find a full leak, which appearently is somewhere on the ineternet too, but I can't find it, so if anyone finds it PM ME!

EDIT: We already heard this snippet I posted

Appearently these are the lyrics

My bones hurt from all the shows

But I don’t feel the pain ‘cause I’m a pro

I sink in then I’m OK ‘cause

My body belongs to you when I’m on stage

If only Fame came in IV form

Baby could I bare, being away from you?

I found the Vein, put it here

Baby, reclaim your fame…

I ate his heart
 then

I swallowed his brain

If you don’t love me back

I will do it again

I’m ready start the music

Scream for me

Say my name

I can’t live without the fame

I live for the way that

You cheer and scream for me

One second I’m the Kunts,

then suddenly the Kunts is me!

Art was in pop now Art’s in Pop culture, in me

I live for the applause

I live for the applause

Under the spotlight I feel alive

Clap for me not let me die.

I won’t die but,
I can’t live without you.

I stand here waiting

For you to bang the gong

To crash the critic and saying

Is it right or is it wrong?

Put your hands up, make em touch!
Make it real now!

Give me that thing that I love

turn the lights on!

I live for the applause

I live for the applause

REALLY HARD to judge from probably the poorest quality clip EVER but the chorus sounds like such a WINNER. It's like PURE PURE POP, the verse (?) after the chorus sounds quite rough though almost dubsteppy, similar to the wild verses of 'Judas'.

I haven't been so ready for anything EVER. :bounce:

First review has surfaced from @MartianTV (ambiguous source but seems legit):

Lady Gaga’s Gamey Sounding New Single "Applause"

It’s hard to follow up a power anthem like Katy Perry’s new single “Roar.” Luckily, Lady Gaga has some wickedly theatrical vocals and a dream production team behind her.

“Applause” is not quite the followup you’d expect after the massive success of her previous first singles, “Bad Romance” and “Born This Way.” This song is actually rather mute in comparison. Still, this song says a lot about what could be coming from ARTPOP. This song is far more experimental, lyrically and instrumentally, than anything else on the radio. It almost sounds like a song you’d hear from Roisin Murphy or Kelis, but would never gain the popularity it deserves. Of course, since it’s Gaga that won’t be a problem.

Back to Gaga’s theatrical vocals, the verses are rather beautiful. Instead of typical polished pop princess vocals, Gaga kicks up the dramatics and delivers in a way you’d expect an actor to during a musical. At first it was kind of unnerving, but the way her voice wobbles as she sings “I stand here waiting for you to bang the gong,” grew to be one of my favorite parts of the song. She mimics this during the second verse also. Of course, the dramatic wobble effect isn’t nearly as much as Gaga shouting, “Put your hands up, make em touch! Make it real now!” or “Give me that thing that I love, turn the lights on!”

Musically, the song actually has a rather retro feel. If I could relate it to anything, it’d be an old school Nintendo or Sega Genesis game, but sprinkled with today’s production tricks. The clubs will eat this song alive. The way the beat robotically thuds under her vocals the earworm that will get this song stuck in your brain.

Radio? That’s a tricky one. Radio will either embrace is, or drop it as soon as the radio deal fizzles like Madonna’s “Give Me All Your Lovin.”

PS: She mentions something about being a coonce (sp?). I don’t know what that is, so if someone could let me know… it’ll help me better make sense of the verse, “One second I’m the coonce then suddenly the coonce is me.”

The radio support bit EEK.

Kunts?

Künstler is German for "artist" so it's that (hopefully)

The radio part is rather worrying, although judging from the clips it sounds like something UK radio would be all over.
I don't think radio is a big problem. I think it'll be all over the radio
Kunst is German for Art. I think it makes more sense.
That chorus is as radio friendly as a song can get. BYE @ that critic who keeps contradicting himself and is obviously high.
I know we've only heard the clips and they're not the BEST quality, but it sounds to me that this will do a good job and being a bit experimental and very Gaga but still commercial enough to get radio plays.
She's removed her display picture, background and bio on Twitter. This is SO getting released today.

Apparently this is being released early now...Gaga removed her Applause twitter background back to the vessel.

Oh dear at this turning into Roar vs. Applause charts wise.

@ladygaga

A POP MUSIC EMERGENCY IS UNDERWAY 911

911 SUMMON THE MONSTER TROUPES

That's a bit of a pretentious tweet :drama:

God knows what's happening, she's doing a good job of attracting attention though, because I keep refreshing and looking for information!

And I suppose Monday is a better release day than Friday :P
