This surely can't be true right? 300 copies for 1 person?!

That's what I was wondering! :heehee:

Who would spend $300 on a single?

There's no need for us to lower ourselves to that level

Fairly certain iTunes only count MAX 3 copies per account..

According to Gaga, the video is also going to be "THE LENGTH OF THE BLOODY SONG".

When did she say that?

She's learning eh from the backlash! At least she's listening to what fans/ critics say, which might be why she chose Applause first + the Clown attire.

I absolutely ADORE Gaga when it comes to pop stars but Applause gets weaker for me with every listen. Sad days.
Why?

Because it could be anyone, it's such a generic track. I think it's really rather lazy lyrically too which doesn't help it's cause, the second verse with the geeks / Koons bits especially... I don't hate it, it's certainly better than most of The Fame was but it's nowhere near the standard I expected of her after the Fame Monster / Born This Way era.

Gaga's long videos are her best though, I bet the video is still gonna get a backlash even though its short because iyt seems like a bandwagon now to criticize Gaga in everything
I'm sorry but that picture is SO Madonna, as much as it pains me to make such comparisons. :(

Ew

In vogue one day, out the next. It's like the media chooses when people are gonna have good years, like Dani Minogue said. Look at Cheryl Cole, one year could do no wrong, next year EVERYTHING she did was wrong. There's now a bandwagon to criticise GaGa for no reason :(

No, she's just slowly killing her own career. Five years time she'll be a one-man show performing in some dingy drag-queen's club in Las Vegas somewhere.

Lol you keep telling yourself that, it's never gonna happen!!

Ya it is really frustrating to read this bunch of negativity arround Applause, saying its a flop etc before it's even charted and proved itself. It's as if certain people want Gaga to be over.

Or maybe what you call "negativity" is simply people not liking "Applause".

To me "Applause" is one of her worst singles, it is a generic pop/dance track with no melody and could be released by anyone.

I think her attitude puts people off too. She is constantly victimising herself, saying how much the critics are hard on her etc etc. That's boring, I'm not going to feel sorry for her or her life. Perez is pure shit for exemple, everyone knows that, she doesn't need to tweet about him.

She's putting herself in a bubble outside the real word, with just her and her Little Monsters, and it's quite hard to get into it.

I personally think Applause is an amazing song and it's done very well for itself so far under the circumstance and Gaga is a great harmless person, people are just being unnecessary and harsh on her. The criticism she gets is all based on hype which she can't help and I feel that is quite unfair...
