Like ILG posted, Examiner.com is an awful source, even worse than The Sun in the UK. Their articles are never good.

I'm estimating somewhat 98% of your posts this week have consisted of you taking digs at Gaga/calling Applause a flop/saying Gaga's career is over and now deeming her the new Amanda Bynes.

 

And 100% of your posts have been positive/raving about Gaga, how is that more valuable than my posts?

It's fairly certain you are borderline trolling around the Gaga forums. Perhaps Kath loons for Gaga beyond this sub-forum but you're no better in that you find every single way to criticise the song + the artist in every way.

Ok yeah it is underperforming compared to how she usually does, but we love/ like the song in here so doesn't really matter.

Applause debuted at 5 in the UK which is a great achievement. 10th top 10 smash for her! :D

I hope it does better next week, but if not we all like (or love :D ) the song, and all artists have dips in popularity at times. Beyonce is massive for example and doesn't do that well in the charts. We can hope for the next single to do it, as much as I love Applause I might have to accept it won't make no.1.

The video will need to be as iconic as the likes of 'Telephone' or 'Bad Romance' to stand a chance of #1 in the UK, and I'm somewhat doubtful that'll happen but we can hope for a new peak though!

Because looning is mainly positive (Kath's is) while trolling is mainly negative and just for the sake of it. It may insult or hurt someone too.

What? Perez may act like a bully but you've been acting the same way with me lately. You've judged me only on the fact I've been highly critical of Gaga since 'Applause' leaked, throwing names at me and stuff (troll, etc.). The truth is I can stan just as much for Gaga when she's a great popstar, singles such as Poker face, Bad Romance, Alejandro, Telephone, Judas, and actually a lot of her songs have clicked with me. I was still raving over 'Government hooker' something like 2 weeks ago.

 

And before you bring Katy Perry into this, I can be as harsh on her as I am on Gaga right now, and I've been in the past, believe me. So this has nothing to do with her. If anything I find their chart battle amusing.

 

So yes, I'm harsh on Gaga, like any popstar, when I think she gets it wrong, but it's only fair and I don't see it as a reason to "shup up".
