I'm wondering if this really is a "chart battle". I'm seeing it more similar to DJ Fresh 'Louder' Vs Loick Essien (who?) 'How We Roll'. There was a clear winner there, and I'm almost certain that 'We'll Be Coming Back' will easily outsell 'Heatwave' by a massive margin. :D

I expect you'll be surprised then, at this stage I can't see Wiley not being #1. The Irish iTunes chart (Calvin #1, Wiley #15) has restored some hope for Calvin to win but I still think it's highly unlikely.

The thing with Drake though is, I can't ever imagine him rapping on the R.I.P beat, and I don't imagine a lot of his fans would like that.

Well, since it was Drake's song originally, I think he's a pretty likely replacement regardless of whether or not that would be a good idea. I hope R.I.P. can be a hit in the USA but I don't think it will be :(

Underworld have overtaken Arctic Monkeys to #13, I'm really surprised it's still gaining - I doubt it'll go top 10 though, there's still some way to go and Calvin and Wiley will blast into the top 10 really quickly. Hopefully on for top 40 next week though - Arctic Monkeys could get there too but I think they'll be a lot more frontloaded than Underworld. 'Abide With Me' up to #34 and the London Symphony Orchestra version of 'Chariots Of Fire' up to #47.

Yeah, Drake wrote the song I think, but I heard his version, and the instrumental was different (more Drake-ish basically ). Unless they were to change the beat for the US release I guess.

Or I wish they could even just even keep Tinie. He's a little bit well-known there now, since Written in the Stars was a big hit.
