Plans for a sequel, 2015, imdb have got the title as Superman vs. Batman :mellow:

Yeah it was announced at ComicCon the other week. I'm curious to see who they'll cast as Batman amd whether they'll want to reboot the Batman franchise again after it, if it's very successful. I know it's early since the Nolan trilogy has just ended but look at Spiderman!
Superman vs. Batman is just a temp title i'd assume. Until they can think of something else, obviously. Not sure what to think of this. I guess it all depends on who theyre going to cast as Batman and who the villain will be...

Yeah but the Spider-man reboot is crap.

 

Just get Batman to kick Clark's ass and I will be happy. The only other Superman story line I'd be happy seeing is the Death of Superman. The only interesting thing done with the character for over 70 years.

 

Christ leave them both alone, get a proper Green Lantern story together, do a decent Flash movie and then do the JLA. This could very well turn into a sideshow, especially after The Avengers/Iron Man 3 and the next Cap and Thor films.

I read on imdb there could be as many as 5 villains, with Batman as a sidekick to Superman, with numerous actors been mentioned to play Batman, Jensen Ankles (Supernatural), the guy from Teen Wolf (TV series), even Joseph Gordon Levitt, but nothing concrete yet, just rumours. Which would lead into a Justice League movie for 2016

 

And if my memory serves me correctly Stars Wars VII is out that year as well 2 potential summer blockbusters.

This idea fills me with dread. I hate Superman usually. He has zero interesting traits and 'the world's greatest detective' works best on his own. Not with Robin or anyone. Once Batman starts having friends he loses his most interesting aspects.

Change the 70 years to 30 years, give Superman a sense of humour instead of killing him, and I agree with the above, a JLA movie could be marvellous, especially with decent versions of Martian Manhunter, Red Tornado, Black Canary, Atom, Hawkwoman along for the ride, maybe even a rebooted Wonder Woman (from the 70's version) to add to GL & Flash. Aquaman could appear in the Finding Nemo sequel...

On the subject of Wonder Woman - have any of you spotted that's it's being repeated on the Horror Channel (*) (presumably that refers to the plots)! :lol:

I have FINALLY got round to watching this. Now, I was never bothered much with Superman, the only time I watched him was the show in the 90's with Teri Hatcher

as Lois Lane :lol: but I really liked this.

I see where people had criticisms, it does seem that pretty much all the action happens in the second half, but that didn't put me off that much tbh.

I thought Henry was a good Superman, but then, I don't have much to base it on, I was convinced and that's enough for me.

Amy Adams was amazing, but then, she always is. I loved how they made Lois much more than your average love interest/damsell in distress. She was smart, tough,

brave and still caring and not oversexualised but still had an edge of womanliness to her. Also, BADASS. I loved how she actually played a big part in the story rather

than just the woman Superman loves and rescues.

I am biased though, I will never have anything other than praise for Amy :kink:

The story was pretty good too, but it kinda had an air of anticlimax to it at the end, the way the big finale ended was a bit "meh"

Finally, Mama Kent was a MILF.

That's just a rumour.

 

Henry Cavill responded by saying that it will only be one film. Therefore, the release date will still be March 25 2016.
