Can't see any of his fellow nominees beating him to male solo artist as they have nowhere near his fanbase. He probably won't win the single award though.

I hope he wins an award as i think he deserves it. Then again its the Brits and i am usually left disappointed by the winners so i wont be expecting too much again this year. The one thing about the Brits is it give sales a good boost.

British Male Solo Artist isn't a public/biggest fanbase vote...

Good that his got 2 nominations but don't think he will win either of them.
In general the Brit panel dont go with x factor stars so hopefully Olly can break the trend this year although unlikely.

I was just about to say, I read about this just now. Although given the ratings for 90210 aren't very good I'm not sure it'll do much. Mind having said that 'Troublemaker' is doing a bit better on US iTunes now than that epic fail of a remix of 'Heart Skips...' did. It's #2 on German iTunes atm as well! The Germans sure love the Murs :)
Well I think he's likely to win the single one as it's fan voted and 1D aren't in it. No chance of the Best male, Calvin Harris will probably take that if Mark Ronson's win is anything to go by.

'Troublemaker' now #3 in Germany and debuted at #87 on last week's Billboard Hot 100 - a nine place improvement on that dreadful 'Heart Skips...' remix, still doing well on US iTunes as well. His New York and Chicago gigs last week were very well recieved too! It's just gone platinum in Australia too.

I think it's clear the US label have learnt from the mistakes they made last year and are actually doing stuff for him now which is good instead of just pawning him off to One Direction's fanbase and hoping for the best. His performance on 'Michael and Kelly' was a good 'un too!

Finally got round to properly listening to this album and it's great! Probably my favourite of his 3 albums!

The title track 'Right Place Right Time' is just fantastic, definitely in my top 3 Olly songs! Really hope this is released as a single, I love it!

i love that Olly might become the next Robbie Williams (at least in Germany).

I really really like this song, as much as I liked "Heart skips a beat" which I also thought had a lot of potential in the US. But "Troublemaker" really has taken off. Isn't it funny how UK X Factor alumni are doing much better on the Billboard charts than the American X Factor ones? :D

Little Mix "Wings" apparently is going to hit US radio in March.

#65 now! With the slow rise of airplay and the song being in the top 40 of iTunes, even at this rate should peak in the top 40.

Oh, and Troublemaker is upto #57 this week. Not the jump I was hoping, but it's going up!

'Army of Two' already at #93 in Ireland with four weeks to go till it's released here. The video for it was up earlier than intended on Virgin Media On Demand for like an hour today which means we'll probably see it next week - it's apparently got loads of Ollys in it and is a bit more futuristic than his other videos...excited doesn't cover it! Tour starts in a matter of weeks as well :)
