I was delighted when this did make #1 over 'Payphone' and even moreso that it kept its #1 place for 3 weeks. 08 (10) StooShe - Black Heart (35-27-27-17-10-08) [6 wks] This song is such a grower... loving it more and more! Exactly how it's been for me too. Bizarrely I thought 'Love Me' was far more instant and that entered my chart at #9 but I got bored of the song so quickly that I don't even think it managed 6 weeks in my top 40. 'Black Heart' has done the complete opposite - I sort of liked it at first and its continued growing ever since. I think my love for the song is at its peak now so it probably won't peak much higher for me.

I know it's doing well in countries like Germany and Austria but I don't know if 'Blue Jeans' was released there. It has been the perfect second single for StooShe. I didn't expect them to be #3 last week but the Now 82 effect helped them out. It was a grower for me, I wasn't 100% sold on the song at first and when it did start to grow on me, it entered relatively low down but then it managed to make the top 20 eventually. :D

"This Is What Makes Us Girls" has to be next for me. 'National Anthem' is a brilliant track, but it was up against 'Spectrum' and 'Run Boy Run' so was never going to overtake them. I guess these two being recent tracks I've discovered means they're more fresh to me whereas I've been listening to 'National Anthem' since January. I reckon had this been releases instead of 'Born To Die', it could well have spent 6 weeks at #1 back then. I was hoping it'd be 'Summertime Sadness' as the next single, especially now that it's taking off in central Europe. I prefer it to 'TIWMUG' anyways. New chart coming tomorrow. :w00t:

BJSC has allowed me to freshen up my chart. Had it not been for the BJSC effect, who knows how well 'Video Games' may have done for me had I only discovered the track upon its UK release. It probably would've done well but lose a fair amount of weeks in the chart. Same with Gotye - two of my #1 singles last year that both became really big hits months later. Oh, and '212' but that's a Pavel entry so... :P
