Funny how people are complaining about ed sheeran being still there with small bump but not a word uttered about katy perry 8th single lol, shes been on too long AS WELL. I kinda underrstand their attitude though both have million selling albums!

Still a bit sad they've completely snubbed Paloma :( , this campaign started for her so well with a big hit single and good initial album sales... I don't know why they haven't playlisted '30 Minute Love Affair'... :(

Personally I think it's just a really terrible single choice that wouldn't have done well had it gotten airplay anyway, but I always felt a snub was coming anyway with them only B-listing Picking Up The Pieces despite supporting her staunchly during her last campaign. It's sad that Radio 1 have turned on her but she hasn't made it any harder for them by picking songs like 30 Minute Love Affair as singles.

Wide Awake has perhaps overstayed its welcome too but at least that was a big hit, unlike Small Bump. Radio 1 do get quite ridiculous with playlisting a whole bunch of artists though. Katy is one of the artists that they just hate to not have on the playlist (much like Ed and also Rihanna) I guess.

i think its a matter of katy perry international superstar being able to get higher hit singles than someone like ed sheeran, again because of the influence of mtv rotation on an artist like katy perry!
