Lena's 3rd album 'Stardust' is going to be released on the 15th October according to ESC Xtra!

Now 15th October 2012 is set for Lena’s 3rd album called ‘Stardust’. Eight songs were already revealed to a number of journalists in Germany. It is stated that the songs are swing and jazzy, a similar style to what fans heard on her debut album. Lena has explained that she has put a lot of passion and effort into this new album. Most of the songs are written by Lena herself. A spring 2013 tour is expected as part of the ‘Stardust’ promotion.

SO EXCITED! :cheer: I think this is going to be amazing, particularly as it is her first album that hasn't been rushed out due to her Eurovision commitments and even 'My Cassette Player' and 'Good News' were brilliant!

Oh this is excellent, I knew an October release date was on the cards but to have a title and a proper release date is brilliant. I won't lie, I'm a tad disappointed that she's not changing up her style at all (I would have liked her to go down the 'Taken By A Stranger' route rather than the 'everything else she's done' route), but like Ryan I think the fact that she's actually spent quite a while on this can only be a good thing. I'm also really pleased she's written most of the songs on it, I like how involved she is this time round. Definitely excited.

Really like the album artwork, really fits with her other 2 album covers with the simple yet beautiful look!

We also seem to have a track listing now from Amazon.de and you can also listen to 30 second previews of all of the tracks on there!

1. Stardust

2. Mr. Arrow Key

3. Pink Elephant

4. Neon (Lonely People)

5. Better News

6. Day To Stay

7. To The Moon

8. Bliss Bliss

9. ASAP (feat. Miss Li)

10. I'm Black

11. Goosebumps

12. Don't Panic

Loving the sounds of the previews! Can't wait to hear them all in full now!

Previews do indeed sound great! Sounds far better than Good News, and possibly her début too. No real highlight stands out to me unfortunately, but it seems very consistent - not one song that sounds like a dud there. Lovely artwork too, they're really getting everything right with her this era!

"I'm Black"?

The album artwork is great, love the font. Is the single artwork meant to be a bit fuzzy though, not sure about that effect.

It might be "I'm Back", I just copied it off the Amazon page!

Apparently 3 promo singles have been released to iTunes over the last few days! :o I need to check them out!
The album has been released in Germany and as such can now be found on the internet :)
It was released yesterday. :P

That's what I said.

Anyway I've decided the album is good but not amazing. It's certainly an improvement on 'Good News' (absence of a masterpiece like Taken By A Stranger aside) but I just don't think I can ever love her style. There are so many songs on the album that I think could be far better with more imaginative production.

It's technically her best album, production wise certainly, but I don't love it as much as her previous efforts, there are a lot of 8/10 or 8.5/10 moments but no real killer WOW songs for me so far.

I've finally heard this! I love it, not a bad track! A couple do stick out on first listen too, definitely feel like this will have the replay value that her first 2 albums still have now!

Go Lena! :cheer:

Lena is 99% sure going to be performing on X Factor tomorrow :o
I like her song "Stardust". It was one of my favourites songs last year. But i think that she will never have success in U.k..
