Off topic, but did you know that your BJSC song is C-listed on BBC Radio 1Xtra? :o

I wasn't but I'm not too surprised considering I first heard it on 1Xtra

Dandy*'s entry from last contest ('Spectrum') has been added to the INMWT list this week. Cheap Dandy*!!1! etc.

If Dandy* is cheap for having his entry INMWT-listed then what are Hitstastic (STIUTK), Ryan741 (CMM) and JackJones (Brokenhearted)?

I'm almost certain they'll playlist Tulisa, but I'm not sure about Little Mix. Radio 1 needs to playlist Tulisa/Tyga considering what age-group they're supposed to be targetting. I hope Little Mix get playlisted too though.

I did really like Eamon and Frankee's songs at the time :kink: Now it's a guilty pleasure childhood classic I guess

If I remember well Frankee replaced Eamon at number 1 back in the day

Little Mix are already playlisted, last week on the B-list :kink:

:cheer: (to both parts )

I hope Little Mix can get to #1, but I'm not too sure they will considering that their X Factor winners single did worse than they usually do.

Of Monsters and Men - Little Talks is up to #29!

Also, 212 seems to have been already put back to 99p.

Emeli Sandé has also tweeted talking about a 'Wonder' video shoot so this might be her new single (or it could be Naughty Boy's as people have said on here)

They were both number 1. What horrendous songs. One hit wonders from the worst class. :-/

To compare Rita Ora to those nobodies is a bit harsh though imo. :-(

I'm comparing the songs. Both have pointless swearing in them that's purely there for (non)*shock* value. I could use Cee Lo Green 'f*** You' as an example, but that was an excellent song and it worked within the context of the song. Then there's 'Loca People' which I know quite a few Buzzjackers hate, but again it's one of those songs that would just never work without the swearing as proved by the UK radio edit.

Each to their own. I just think swearing works in some songs (eg; 'Lose Yourself' and 'Stan' by Eminem), and nowhere near as much in others (Eamon & Frankee).

'How We Do' is the musical equivalent of a 10 year old girl dolling herself up to look 20. It just doesn't work. (without the swearing, it's more tolerable)

Anyways back to iTunes...

Go 'Little Talks' :w00t:

Don't forget Robot who sent 'Someone Like You'! :P

'Little Talks' seems to be picking up some speed now - top 20 by tomorrow I think and top 10 next week!

I get now the comparison, but as artists I wouldn't compare Rita to them, that's what I meant, but fair enough so

Back on the real radio 1 playlist, Fazer, fun., Of Monsters And Men, Ne-Yo and Pink are now up to B-list!

1Xtra has 3 Frank Ocean songs on the playlist atm! Great to see them stanning for him. I hope Radio 1 follows suit. :coffee:

 16. Bangarang (feat. Sirah) - Skrillex

Could this be heading for the top 10? :o

 24. Ni**as in Paris - JAY Z & Kanye West

Weird to see this back so high yet again as well!

Actually I thought more people like Rita's How We Do (Party) here, but it seems I was wrong. Actually I always liked summery, bubblegum songs so maybe that's why I like it so much. (But if it gets too much airplay, it could change my opinion) :P
The thing is with Rita Ora's single is it debuted so long ago, I'm kind of over it, which I'm sure a lot of others are too, it should have been released weeks ago! Definite #1 anyway though, but not sure about longevity of that song...we'll see.

I'm glad you've posted "summery, bubblegum songs" as that's where my issue with pointless swearing comes in. 'How We Do' could've been an unashamed glorified pop song but instead it's been tainted with that chant instead.

'Hot Right Now' remains Rita Ora's best track so far.

I really don't get the swearing either. Just not needed.

Definitely HRN her best song to date.

And you know the strange thing is, I know the song too. It has been played in Hungary, I heard it 2-3 months ago too

TBH I prefer RIP and Hot Right Now too to How We Do but I still like it :D

Kinds of a similar case with Hollaback Girl aswell imo.

I can't believe Bangarang is so high atm! Great to see though.

Actually the swearing part is censored in Hungary: Party and Boh (That's all you can hear)

Now I'm finished with Rita and offtopic :kink:
