It looks like Taylor's next single and album aren't too far away! I've found all this information from Popjustice Forums, so a big thank you to them!

In early July 2012, she posted on Facebook:

Oh hey!

I'm writing you from Nashville, where I just sat in a big room with a lot of people and made a lot of decisions about a lot of things happening very soon. And as vague as that sentence was, I think you know what it means.

Stuff is about to happen.

And I love you more than ever.

Taylor

Then in mid-July, Scott Borchetta (from her record label) was talking about her 4th album. He said there is going to be more writers on this album and she's working with other producers. He also said there is going to be other voices on the album and is going to expand her music base. Furthermore, Taylor had an album preview with Universal executives in London on July 13th. She previewed 7 tracks, and someone on twitter who was there said the tracks were "super catchy" (for what it's worth).

It also seems she has changed her management team. The deal was signed a few months ago and they apparently have much more experience in international promotion!

Also, Taylor will be receiving the Robert F. Kennedy Ripple of Hope Award in December which seems to be a big deal!

Also, as 13 is her favourite number, August 13th is being thrown around as a potential release date for her new single which would be a similar date to 'Mine'.

Then on July 26th, Taylor had been playing the single to radio stations!!!

Another radio person that heard the first single is describing it as pop fun and up-tempo.

Also, Scott Borchetta (Big Machine Records) tweeted:

Ok... My definition of 'Soon'. September. Like 'early September'. Will be here before we know it... 'Kisses'... :)

Possible names of tracks do we think? Soon, Early September and Kisses? We'll find out soon!

Also, they are shooting the music video as of the end of July! Dancers were tweeting about being on set.

And on the 6th August Scott Borchetta tweeted last night:

Good night... And may the Monday odds be ever in your favor...

Then it was revealed that Taylor will host a live webchat on August 13, where she will answer questions from fans and reveal a special announcement of her own, according to a video she posted online on Tuesday 7th.

ALL VERY EXCITING! :cheer:

Wow, this is fantastic! Only recently got into Taylor's music. Ordered Taylor Swift and Speak Now from Amazon yesterday. Can't wait for new music! :D
Taylor needs to focus more on International sucess. She has already dominated America, and her recent collbaration with B.O.B has charted well in the UK. But she hasn't had solo sucess since Fearless. She also needs to try other genres, but at the same time, avoid the Good Girl Gone Bad route done by X-Tina, Rihanna and others. So I'm hoping this album can achieve all that with this 4th album.
No I really don't want her diversifying, what I like about Taylor is the sweet country-pop with no catches thing she has going on, we don't need her to do a LeAnn Rimes and bring out average pop/rock (although admittedly Can't Fight The Moonlight is her best but that's another issue). She is huge in America and I doubt she'd compromise that for success elsewhere. Love Story showed that the right country songs can be a hit, I think she can do it with support.
Clearly she needs to go down the heavy metal route.

UGH. This is my most anticipated record of the year but the single premieres next Monday when I'm away. It's meant to have hints of early Avril. Very pop but there is a country mix.

Oh :( Still anticipating it greatly but to be honest I can guarantee I'll prefer the country mix! I don't really want to her branch out to other stuff, nor do I think she has to but if that guy thinks it has more mass appeal than Love Story than it could be what she needs I guess.

I'm sure she won't completely abandon any country influence, it will probably be along the lines of 'Love Story' and 'You Belong With Me' - I can't imagine her going fully pop even if they do say it will be her most mass appeal single yet!

There are also lots of co-writes and some collaborations on the album! She has worked with Max Martin and also a duet with Ed Sheeran will be on the album!

I love the artwork and title, red can mean a lot of things so it should be a good expressive album!

LOVE IT.

Really good album cover, she seems to have grown up a lot.

Her new single again is really good, she's definitely on the right road and maturing nicely.

By the way, here is the full recording of the live webchat she did last night where she speaks a lot about the album! Its a really great way of making announcements like this and I hope more artists do a similar thing in the future!
