Dappy may have got to #6 but he did so with only 12k. Tulisa should easily beat that even with a lower peak. It's doing about as well as I was expecting really.

The album is such a good pop/RnB album - I just hope it's one of those albums that recovers in the new year due to the lack of new releases and the fact all the Christmas and Greatest Hits albums start fading away.

I REALLY hope this isn't a #24 smash album, and that it manages top 10!

Well after finally listening to this there is 5 decent songs imo, Steal My Breath Away, Kill Me Tonight, Counterfeit, Habit & Sight Of You, so all the songs at the end basically. All the rest are pretty dire!

Not sure about Counterfiet and Sight of You but the other three are definitely within the strongest on the album. Habit has grown on me SO much :wub: It's beautiful!

Think this could be outside of the Top 30 in today's update - Really hope that it can somehow recover in the New Year if she releases a strong single.

As i expected #33 in today's mids :drama: Just hope it can hold onto a Top 40 place as weekend sales are going to be huge so she could easily be pushed out :drama:

#35. So SO bad. That cannot be excused from a "personality" as big as her's... I've not even bothered to listen, but I'm sure it's as awful as the three singles point it to being.

I think the problem is the general public don't really like Tulisa or her music.

This album should have done better considering her presence in the UK industry. Not to mention, she's currently on one of the biggest shows on UK TV. I now find it out of place that Young got to #1 :lol: . Live It Up has been my favourite single from the era, I've thought both the others are terrible.

 

I wonder if she'll be able to rebound that album up the charts eventually?

She has confirmed that she's recording a new single, so either she's going to re-release the album, or this era is done.

She's apparently said that she's happy with how the album has been received and she's done with it. :(

I'm not suprised in the slightest, unless you just mean as a solo artist. She's been in the music business for years and years, so it's not like the traditional "trial of a new artist and if they don't match expectations drop them".

 

And she got a #1 single and two further top 20 hits, which is more than a lot of artists can achieve.

 

She's such an easy target though, so i can see where all this is coming from.
