According to someone over on DS, Candy is a rip off of Cross My Broken Heart by Sinitta. I can't believe Robbie is being compared to Sinitta and Cher Loyd. :wacko:
Catchiest Robbie single ahead of RDJ. It reminds me of some Robbie songs such as RDJ and Hot Fudge at parts but mostly the rythm and the way he sings it reminds me of a lot of funny songs my little sister listened to when she was 4 years old :lol: (e.g the gummy bear stuff). I think I like it, it is fun, instant and a definite chart topper but perhaps a bit too catchy for me. It is 'embarassingly infectious' :rofl:

By the way the single artwork is a big fail. I can see us getting a lot of Robbie Goblet-Heads for each release of this area. :lol: It it a clever and creative concept but the very result of this single is 'hey ho Robbie is ill don't get too close Spongebob'.

Yeah. I fear variations of the 'head' artwork. Lets just hope 'Sh*t on the radio' isn't released as a single. I don't much fancy the likely cd cover :puke2:

It hasn't been added to any of Radio 1's playlists - not A, B or C. He is a bit too old for R1 but I doubt he will be pleased with that as the whole point of the track from what he has said is to get played endlessly on radio.
