Well now that's three of 'that type of winner' in a row, it's safe to say I think that's the way BJSC is going now. Shame.

Everything's going in circles, in the future contests you'll see some big backlash of this type of stuff, and the pop will be ruling again!

 

I love the last three winners, so I REALLY don't mind this state of BJSC but the pop part will see the ray of light at the top very soon surely.

I either dislike or don't care for nearly two thirds of that top 15 and I didn't think this was even a predominantly bad contest. Disappointing results but 'Sulk', as I said, is a worthy winner.

 

UGH at 'Lies' coming 2nd, I really don't see the hype at all. Will we have another Leww-hosted contest or will Grebo get it now or what? EDIT: Oh, already answered. Yay for another Leww hosted contest! Three in a row maybe? :P

It's fine Leww, you've done an amazing job since the green room thread opened. I do fear that everyone will be so intimidated by your design skills that you will end up winning every contest from now on so that nobody else will need to have their design skills shown up.

 

I still pledge that if Batidas were to ever win again, I'm contacting Aeroche to help us with our graphics. :D

Oh, and HA at my first flop. But at least 46 points is better than 0 I guess.

 

I have an inspiration for the next contest, I'm choosing between the two songs from one artist at the moment. And it will be very different to what I've ever sent before. If I break my final streak next time at least I'll do that with a very atmospheric and beautiful tune.

Anyway indie haters might be somewhat pleased to know that the "indie bloc's" least successful nation (i.e. me) is going POP for the next contest. Woo.

I'm struggling between 2 choices for the next contest, I'm on the best run of form I've ever had so I'm desperately trying to find another HIT.

Can people stop complaining that they haven't liked the last two or three winners? Consider yourselves LUCKY! I watched my least favorite songs win this contest for YEARS. :lol: I'm sure you can all cope with not liking a couple! The last few winners have been unexpected, yes, but people need to stop depending on the blogs and start thinking outside the box. Let the likes of Lew/Jake/anybody else left-of-field enjoy their successes without bringing the mood down. The poptarts have ruled this contest with an iron fist for years so it's only normal that the contest shifts direction.
