September 30th?

Might be some compettion, but the song will AT LEAST spend one week at the top because of the massive fanbase the band has.

It's already available to pre-order on New Zealand iTunes with remixes from Dave Aude & Jump Smokers as well as a live version of 'I Want, hope there's a b-side in the end too, imagine there will be and they're fab too.

That better just be a placeholder cover.

Jump Smokers? Gosh, they like collaborating with amazing artists. ;)

I hope there's a b-side at least on the CD or something. And I highly doubt that's the official artwork.

When One Direction have sold out the O2 Arena ten times, had more number 1 singles here and sold more here and had the approval of the people who really matter - Gary Barlow, Boyz II Men - then you come back to me and say they're more successful.

:lol:

Oh dear. JLS are possibly bigger here than 1D are (but the more successful 1D get, the more irrelevant JLS will become imo), but only a fool would think it's the same when talking on a WW basis. I'm not the biggest 1D fan or JLS fan (both are better than the arrogant The Wanted for me though), but there is no denying 1D are currently a lot bigger than JLS.

I hope this IS 'What Makes You Beautiful' part 2. Because that song grew on me far too late (literally like 4 or 5 months or so ago!) and I really like it now. But we all know what to expect, so it shouldn't really affect our opinions of them or the track just yet. It's the next era where I think they should start moving things forward in regards to sound progression. But for now, they may as well milk the sound of the debut, for what they can and enjoy it whilst they can.

JLS are not bigger at all :o

Sales wise I'd say they were, but strictly in the UK only. Although there is no way real, fair way to judge this. You can't compare first albums as the sales climate is very different. Although I guess when you count all sales together (singles and albums) then 1D are probably bigger. Who's tours were more successful? 1D's? :unsure:
I think it is hard to compare because one are moving onto the fourth era and the other only onto the second, 'Proud' really struggled but we have no idea how 1D will do that far down the line. As for the tours, I think the first JLS UK Arena tour had roughly the same amount of dates as the one 1D will be doing next year.

Well I think name alone 1D are bigger everywhere. 1D-mania took off after the album was released here though so sales are hard to go by, this next one will be massive. JLS are pretty irrelevant now, and have been for a year or so.

Yeah I guess. I definitely think 1D's 2nd era will be much more successful than their 1st era, unlike JLS who's seemed to diminish with each album. JLS are definitely irrelevant now though, so I guess it really is 1D that are bigger, considering that, like I just said, their popularity seems to be ever growing.

From Capital's website;

They look so scrawny in that cover, and Zayn's tattoo looks ridiculous.

JLS are bigger in the UK on paper, they have alot more hits and sales behind them here. But if 1D are selling 600k of an album here and then x+ millions internationally on top of that then they wont care too much about the UK. The US is where the money is. JLS do not sell outside of the UK so they have to be big here otherwise they would be signing on down the job centre

OK, you be all smug and rub that in my face now. You just wait. The camel's back will break with them eventually because they've had it too soon and too fast and it's made them cocky/think they've invincible. They're a fad.

Ouch you're going it but i aint mad though GO IN!!, once they get older it'll be interesting to see if teenyboppers still care about them especially in america.
