August 30, 201212 yr Group D looks extremely tough! It's basically the best teams from each pot in that group.
August 30, 201212 yr Apart from swithing Ajax for PSG/Juventus then definitely. The Champions of the three strongest leagues in Europe all in the same group, Man City get the hardest group again. Did anyone watch the Udinese/Braga penalty shoot out? Only one missed was a Panenka where the keeper was able to save it down the middle. Bet they're incredibly pissed off with him.
August 30, 201212 yr Arsenal should be pretty pleased with that, Chelsea's group looks fairly friendly although they could have done without Juve. United's is ridiculously easy (just as well, they may not be top seeds next year if they don't get through) and City have the bum draw. Again.
August 31, 201212 yr Author Didn't everyone say that about United's group last season ? Although, I'd expect they've learnt from that Predictions: Group A: PSG, Porto Group B: Arsenal, Schalke 04 Group C: AC Milan, Zenit St Petersburg Group D: Real Madrid, Man City Group E: Chelsea, Juventus Group F: Bayern Munich, Valencia Group G: Barcelona, Benfica Group H: Man United, Braga
September 17, 201212 yr Champions League Odds With Coral: Barcelona 9-2f Real Madrid 9-2 Man Utd 8-1 Man City 9-1 Bayern Munich 12-1 Chelsea 12-1 Juventus 18-1 PSG 20-1 Arsenal 20-1 AC Milan 28-1 Borussia Dortmund 33-1 FC Porto 40-1 Valencia 50-1 Zenit St Petersburg 66-1 Malaga 66-1 Schalke 04 66-1 Benfica 80-1 Montpellier 100-1 Spartak Moscow 125-1 Shakhtar Donetsk 150-1 Lille 150-1 Braga 200-1 Galatasaray 200-1 Dynamo Kiev 200-1 Ajax 200-1 Basel 250-1 Olympiakos 250-1 Anderlecht 300-1 Celtic 300-1 BATE Borisov 300-1 FC Copenhagen 500-1 CFR Cjuj 500-1 FC Nordsjaelland 750-1 Dinamo Zagreb 500-1
September 18, 201212 yr Im looking forward to watching Man Shity get embarassed by Real Madrid. Well that went well. I didn't see the game tonight but sounds like a cracker, unlucky for City even if Real did have most of the play.
September 18, 201212 yr Author I didn't understand talk of Man City being embarrassed before the game. They're the premier league champions and have spent millions assembling their squad. Surely you'd expect them to match Madrid closely?
September 19, 201212 yr LMAO!!! at the noisy neighbours getting victory snatched from their grasp and turned into defeat.
September 20, 201212 yr What a game between Young Boys and Liverpool. Finished 5-3 to Liverpool. 5 goals in the second half. Liverpool were 3-2 down at one point but Jonjo Shelvey scored twice to save Liverpool's blushes. Liverpool also got Udinese and super-rich Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala in their group.
September 21, 201212 yr Author I was expecting a defeat when you consider the lack of experience in the side that was put out, so a 5-3 win away from home is a welcome surprise. I'm sure it'd have been an entertaining game for the neutral, but I was more concerned about how poor defensively we've been this season. Enrique and Carragher in particular weren't great
October 2, 201212 yr Celtic get their 1st away win in the Champions League ever with a 3-2 win over Sparatak Moscow.
October 25, 201212 yr How good was it last night? Arsenal & City both losing, and Dortmund (as I expected, top side) beat Madrid at home.
October 25, 201212 yr How good was it last night? Arsenal & City both losing, and Dortmund (as I expected, top side) beat Madrid at home. Manchester City are virtually out, and Schalke exposed Arsenal's weaknesses. I guess Steve Bould isn't the world's best ever defensive coach
October 25, 201212 yr A third straight draw for Tottenham with a 1-1 draw with Slovenian side NK Maribor away. Bit of a tough match for Liverpool tonight against mega-rich Russian Club Anzhi Makhachkala.
November 8, 201212 yr Congratulations for all "Celtic" fans here. It was a great match. :cheer:
