Is it me or are there fewer likeable tracks in each successive UP?

It would seem that way, hardly found anything I liked yet.

Eh, the quality is bad? Not to these ears it isn't. I've taken a listen through and this is easily the best of the three UPs I've taken part in. I'll probably have competition for my 20 for the first time, and there were only about 5 write offs, the rest are great.

 

I'm quite serious when I say this edition is better than the last two BJSC editions, there's really not much crap in there at all.

I didn't say it was bad. I'm just not clicking with the songs.

Try a 6 hour car journey with nothing to do but listen to them on an iPod (or other music player seeing as it's you). They'll click fairly quickly.

After listening to all the tracks for the first time, this is way better than the last couple of editions. There is at least some variety between the tracks, unlike UP9 where most of the tracks merged into a two hour dirge.

I want to mark Twigs down because I previously knew it but i just CAN'T IT'S SO GOOD.

It's also making me sad that there's no Pressure/Out Getting Ribs of this contest :(

Twigs is one of the most yawn inducing pieces of music I have heard in a while. I hope it really doesn't win.

They're starting come to life.

Just voted, absolutely LOVE my top two, could have given the 20 to either quite easily. Then there are a further six songs that I really liked, although the quality was relatively strong overall this time, lots of variety which was good. Definitely seeing how this is merging into BJSC more and more though, there seems to be way more alternative stuff there and a lot more pop or commercial sounding stuff here.

Listening to the songs really properly now and there is an awful lot of guff here.

 

Didn't think we would ever get to the point where I get more interersting new music from the latest BJSC rather than the latest UP.
